Kabanata 9

"GALAW-GALAW, baka pumanaw." I smirked while looking at the grumpy master jejemon beside me.

He glanced at me and frowned. Ngumisi naman ako roon at kumapit sa kanyang braso.

"Why are you so grumpy, huh?" I asked and his forehead creased at me again.

"Is your son..." he started kaya natawa na naman ako roon.

"What about it?" I asked, amused by his reaction.

"Who's the father?" he asked. "I mean, did he leave you? You were a virgin when we—"

"So adorable, I'm telling you, Chance. I'm an independent parent, I don't need a father to raise my son," I told him at mas kumunot ang noo niya.

He looks so bothered and stressed, tawa-tawa lang siya kanina pero no'ng matahimik kami ay mukha na namang problemado sa buhay.

"Why, baby boy? Ayaw mo na ba sa akin kapag nalaman mong may baby na ako?" I asked. Mas sumimangot siya.

"No." He shook his head. "I don't care if you have a son, I was just thinking of the asshole father—"

"Tara na." Ngisi ko at hinila siya palabas ng elevator.

He does not care then... kahit may anak na ako.

I bit my inner cheek.

I intertwined my fingers with his and pulled his palm, sumulyap naman siya sa akin at kumindat lang ako.

"Come on, jejemaster ko."

"Darshana..." he warned. I chuckled and pulled him closer.

"Come on, Chance. Let's go." I opened the door of my unit and walked with him.

I smiled when I entered the room, bumaling ako kay Chance na seryoso pa habang nasa likod ko kaya umayos na ako ng tayo at sumipol.

"Baby, Mommy's home!" I exclaimed loudly and I smiled widely when I heard something.

I grinned when I saw how my baby, a Siberian Husky dog came running towards me.

"Hi, my son..." I chuckled nang masalo siya, he keeps on wiggling, obviously happy to see me. "Hi, boy, you missed Mommy so much?"

"Chance?" I called and smiled, almost laughing at his shock face.

"You... you said you have a son..." he muttered.

Baby boy, this is my son, Pocholo," I introduced. "But I call him Cho-choo."

I almost burst out laughing when I saw him blinking rapidly while still staring at my dog beside me.

"No... I thought, it's a real son—I mean—"

"He's my real son, Chance," I insisted and took his hand para lumapit kami sa baby ko. "Lalaki 'to, look, may pututoy siya..."

"Darshana..." he warned. I giggled and laughed.

"Totoo nga, tignan mo pa. Cho-choo, turn back." I saw how my dog turned his back on us, his tail is wiggling a bit, like he's excited. "Tignan mo, baby boy. Parehas kayong may balls."
