Alex entered the large dome-shaped building and walked forward a few steps into a T-shaped intersection with the entrance at the middle. Out of no where, he heard talking followed by footsteps.
He knew it was more Imperials.
Alex quickly ran to the wall in-front of him and leaned his back against it.
Now facing the entrance that he came from, he saw lights to his left.
A bright white beam darting across the wall from flashlights and a humming red glow from the guards' helmets.
Alex turned and ran to his right, down a long hallway which curved around a bend. At the end of the bend was a big open room with two more doors in it.
The room had eight computer screens on a desk with an Imperial Guard in a chair right in front of them.
To Alex's luck, the guard was leaned forward and too focused on the cameras that he didn't notice him.
Alex slowly walked across the room trying to be as quiet as possible, when he heard a giggle.
He looked over to the door on the right side and saw that it was open just a tiny bit with familiar pink eyes looking directly at him.
"Jasmine!" He whispered towards her.
The door in which her sister peered from, quickly slammed shut as if she thought she were playing a game.
Obviously the guard heard it too and spun around to face Alex in his chair.
"Hey! Who authorized you to be in here?!" The Imperial guard reached over with his left hand and grabbed a small black baton.
Alex ran towards the door on the right and tugged on it's handle.
It wouldn't budge, must be locked.
Alex looked behind him and saw that the guard was now walking towards him.
He clicked a button on the handle of the baton and then the end of the baton folded open revealing a thin piece of metal in the shape of a 'V' poking out.
Bright red electricity glowed in-between the 'V' shaped metal.
The guard leaped at Alex, swing his left hand and just barely missing as Alex fell to the side.
The guard swung again and Alex ducked.
He quickly scrambled over to the left door and pulled it open.
He sprinted through the dark corridor ahead of him and he heard the Imperial Guard behind him click on his radio.
"Calling in some help taking care of a pest, possible rebel, no visible attributes. He's in Corridor C."
Alex just kept running through the darkness, trying to even his breath.
"Jasmine..." He tried whispering between breaths, "Where are you?"
'Smack!'
Alex hadn't noticed a metal door that he ran right into, in the darkness.
"Ow... that's going to leave a bruise."
He slowly got up with his hand on his forehead, and he pushed open the metal door to reveal a bright light in shining in this room.
The light hurt his eyes so he looked down and covered them until they could adjust.
Then Alex put his arms down and looked up.
He was in the main Observatory room with the lens of the large Telescope narrowed down at a white desk with a computer screen.
Then he saw his sister lying down on that desk.

With a black, armored hand clutched around her throat.
