"Noel, please come out and talk to me!"

Anthony's pleas were met with silence from the other side of the bathroom door.

"Noel, honey, the only currently working toilet in the house is in there and I'm gonna end up in a puddle out here if you don't let me in!"

That earned him a giggle and finally, after about 20 minutes, the door creaked open. Her eyes were red from crying but Anthony was once again struck by just how gorgeous Noel truly was.

"Noel, it's  -"

"Anthony, I think we should talk."

"Okay, let me just slip in and out of here real quick. I set the blankets up by the fireplace in the family room."

"Okay." was all she said in response, and as Noel walked away, Anthony couldn't help but worry just what she wanted to talk about.

"Okay, we're all set up!" Anthony said as he fanned the blankets out over the fluffy rug he had in front of the fireplace.

"I figured I ought to get some use out of this rug. It looks warm!" he said, a little too excitedly. He was nervous and Noel knew it.

"It is warm," she said as she sat down, "why don't you come sit with me? Bring the lanterns and radio with you."

Sitting down and getting comfortable, Anthony finally looked over at Noel.

"Why do I feel like a nervous teenager again worrying about what you're going to say?"

Noel gave him a half smile before saying, "It's about my future here in Collinsville."

Meanwhile across town, Holly was laying on the couch with Dallas. They had just returned from his latest check-up at the doctor when the blizzard really hit.

Dallas had been acting distant ever since they left the doctor's office.

"You're doing great with the therapy babe!"

"Holls, they told me I may have permanent nerve damage in my hand. I'm a mechanic, I can't do my job when one hand has the grip strength of a toddler!"
