The room's awkwardness intensified, neither of the two in the room wanted to speak up, and a bystander, Yamato himself, silently begged whatever god was up there to help him leave- and quickly.

"His source of injuries are unknown. There were dusty black marks on some of the wounds, and the 'thing' that caused it was similar to that of a carriage's wheel. However, it seemed to be made of a very different material." The physician finally spoke up, continuing, "The 'thing' that caused his injuries must be quite powerful, to knock out a person for three days." Fuyu stated.

Hideaki slowly nodded. "I see."

The young lord turned his gaze to Yamato, and he unconsciously stiffened at the man's glare.

Mizuki said that he was a noble; a noble with no manners.

"You. Your name is Akira, right?" Hideaki arched an eyebrow.

Before Yamato died; 6 months before his death.

"Akagi Hideaki is one of my least favorite capture targets." Mizuki had said, then turned her head and stated more loudly, "Well, except for Aito. He's the main capture target, because I hate him. My team is horrible, y'know! Every time I have to test the game, I always encounter Aito! How can the creator of a game not even have power over what capture target they get?" Mizuki's head drooped sadly as she sobbed. If Yamato didn't know she always only cried crocodile tears, he really would've actually felt bad.

"Can't you code your way into getting a capture target?" Yamato suggested.

Mizuki instantly lifted her head, her mood brightening. "You are a genius! I think all of those classes you took from that weird medical school really payed off! Even if you didn't get good grades at all, you're still a genius!" Her eyes sparkled as she spoke.

"How does medical school help with coding?" Yamato wondered aloud, "Also, Isn't it common knowledge...?" He asked.

"I don't know." Mizuki blankly said.

"Anywayyy, back to the topic of Hideaki. I absolutely hate him, I despise him, because whenever the heroine encounters him, she must answer all of his inquires, or off with her head!" Mizuki exclaimed, make a slicing motion near her neck to further exaggerate her words. "He also knows if you're lying. It super weird, expected of my super weird team!"

She continued, "It's really hard to befriend Akagi Hideaki. Even if it's easy to encounter him, you have to get over one-hundred thousand friendship points or whatever, and like a million coins to actually complete his route!" She shouted. "This is why I hate my development team! Hmph."

"You act like the capture targets are some sort of Pokémon." Yamato said.

Yamato unconsciously froze while remembering the conversation he had with Mizuki, just a mere 6 months away from his death.

According to Mizuki, I most likely replaced Aito. But somehow, the people in this world are too intelligent to not notice something was wrong.

He didn't really know what to say.

Yamato nodded at the young lord's question.

Hideaki instantly narrowed his eyes, and Yamato swore he saw them flash a shade darker. "What a liar. Tell me your actual name."

So this is what Mizuki said about the young lord Hideaki's ability to see through lies.

Fuyu poked Yamato's shoulder from beside him. "It's best to tell the young lord." She whispered.

I feel like I forgot my own name from all this tension.

"My name is Yamato. Yamato Akira." Yamato responded, although quietly.

"Speak up." Hideaki stoically said.

"......My name is Yamato Akira." Yamato repeated, significantly louder this time. He had just been revived from the dead- he most certainly did not want to return back to the claws of death after just a measly 3 days.

Another silence passed, although between him and the young lord this time. Hideaki sure took a long time to think.

Out of the corner of his eye, Yamato was pretty sure that Fuyu had on a face that expressed "This guy can actually talk?"

"Uh-huh.. And what're you doing here?" Hideaki questioned.

Is this arrogant young lord some sort of detective in training? No way in hell would I respond to a complete stranger, let alone some arrogant noble. Besides, even if I did plan to respond, I myself don't even know why I'm here!

"I don't think he knows." Fuyu spoke up for him, as if she had read his mind.

Yamato was genuinely stunned.

First it was Yuna, then it was this strange physician. Is it a common ability to have telepathic powers?

"Oh." Hideaki replied. "Well, whatever. Escort him back to his room." Hideaki turned his head away, and continued to work on his papers.

You asked all those questions for nothing? What was the point of asking then?!

Yamato was quite irked at this young lord who was arrogant and haughty at the start, and then calm and casual the next.

Fuyu gave a half-hearted bow to Hideaki, and then turned her head to Yamato. "Let's go. You're going to stay in the manor until we find out what caused your injuries." The physician said. When she saw Yamato look at her with a questioning look, she explained, "The young lord already gave orders to keep you here."

Yamato, at these words, contemplated for a bit before nodding, and followed Fuyu outside of Hideaki's office, closing the door with the back of his hand as he left.
