Starting Over (18+)

"I miss you." She whispers, sniffling again.

"Oh honey...I miss you too... so much." I whisper, blowing her a kiss while I tickled her nose with my feather.

"I can't wait until I'm in your arms again."

"I can't wait either." I whisper, sitting in my chair and leaning back. After a few moments, (Y/N) yawned and got up, walking to her bed and laying down. I watched as she got comfortable.

"Keigo..."

"Yes baby bird?"

"Can you hum for me please?" She asks softly. I smile.

"As you wish baby bird." I whisper, leaning into my mic and humming so she could hear me. I watch as she sways slightly in her bed, her eyes drooping shut before soft snores filled the room.

"Goodnight baby bird. I'll be here when you wake up." I whisper, getting up and going about my day.

A month flew by and before I knew it, I was on my way to get my baby bird. I flew over the ocean, a small duffel bag in tow. After a few hours, I landed at the airport, walking inside and looking around to see my baby bird. I spot her waving her arms up in the air, standing next to her parents. I ran to her, hugging her tightly and swinging her around. I set her down and bow to her parents, shaking their hands.

"Baby bird, can I talk with your parents for a second please?" I ask softly. She nods.

"I'm gonna go use the restroom."

"Okay. Thank you love." I say, watching her walk away. I turn to her parents and look her father in the eye, pulling my headphones down around my neck.

"Sir, I'd like to ask for your daughter's hand in marriage. It would be an honor to marry your daughter."

"Keigo, son, I need your promise you'll treat her right. I need your promise that my baby girl will be safe."

"I promise sir. If I ever did anything to hurt her then you can feel free to take my life." I say seriously.

"Now let's not let it get that far. Just don't hurt her... I give you my blessing, just don't ever hurt her."

"Of course sir. Thank you sir." I say with a bow, shaking his hand again. I hugged her mother who was crying.

"I'll treat her right, miss. I promise." I whisper, hugging her tightly before releasing her. (Y/N) skips back, smiling at me.

"Everything okay?" She asks.

"Yes baby bird. Just telling your parents the living plan." I say, smiling. They nod and open their arms for a hug. She hugs them, whispering goodbyes.

"(Y/N) I got this for you." I say, pulling out a specially made harness that could hold her against me and keep her secure. She smiles.

"Thank you Keigo." She says, hugging me.

"Of course honey." I whisper, hugging back.

"You two love birds should get going." Her mother says, hugging us both before we both left. I walk outside and hook up the harness, clipping her to me closely.

"Ready?" I ask.

"Ready." She says. I crouch down and launch into the air, flapping my wings to get us into the air.

"Oh, here's a pair of headphones. I got a set with a mic so we can talk." I shout over the wind, placing them on her head. I lower my mic and smile down at her.
