It had been a week since Zack found her on the couch that night, he had spent a lot of that time thinking. He'd do his job, come home and stay in his room. (Y/n) began to worry, thinking maybe he was changing his mind. She couldn't hide the fact she did have feelings for him, he had been her first friend even if they didn't know everything about eachother. But the past didn't matter to her, all that mattered to her was that moment. And at that moment she was afraid she'd be alone again.

It was a little after 10 when Zack got back from taking out a target, (Y/n) had been sitting on the couch and watched from the corner of her eye as he went to his room. Her heart stung a bit when he hadn't even looked at her. After about 10 minutes she chose to go upstairs, she stopped in front of his door and knocked gently. "Zack... Can we talk?..." It took a minute before she heard him tell her the door was unlocked, when she came in she found he had the lamp on but the main light off. He was sat on his bed, still in his red jeans but shirtless. Even still he was wrapped in bandages. "What's with that look in your face?" (Y/n) jumped a bit at his voice, she had been so distracted she forgot he was there. She came in and closed the door behind her, she hoped she was far enough from the lamp he wouldn't see her blush as she looked to the side. "It's nothing just... I wanted to know what was wrong. You've been acting off lately and I was wondering if you wanted to quit and leave..." Her voice got softer towards the end, her heart aching at the thought of him leaving.

Zack had watched her quietly, taken off guard by not only her questions but how sad she looked. She wouldn't look at him, and it made his chest ache. He had spent this time thinking of how to tell her his feelings, he didn't realize he gave off such a vibe. He could tell she didn't want him to leave, he didn't want to either and he didn't intend to mislead and hurt her with that idea. "No not at all, I've just been thinkin is all so don't worry. I ain't going no where." His words made her blush darken, to the point he could see it. Still though she didn't look up at him, instead she slowly turned to leave. "I see, sorry to disturb you then." She was glad he wasn't leaving, but embarrassed that she let her real feelings slip. Though as her back faced him and her hand touched the door knob she found herself being held from behind, one arm around her waist as a bandaged hand held her own that once reached for the door knob.

"Listen I ain't good at this but I feel for you alright? I just wasn't sure how to tell ya.. I mean look at me, I'm a monster." She felt how he held onto her almost desperately, (Y/n) figured he was self concious and to hear him call himself a monster made her heart hurt. Appearance wasn't everything, besides she found him attractive in his own special way. So turning she wrapped her arms around his waist, her face buried in his chest. "Don't say that please... You aren't a monster." She took a deep shakey breath, though she relaxed feeling him hold her. "I feel for you to Zack, a lot. So please... Be my angel of death?"

(Y/n) looked up at him hopefully, even if he did have feelings for her she wasn't sure if they were the feelings she thought he was talking about so in her mind there was a chance of being rejected. Though her heart calmed when seeing him smile, not his usual sadistic smirk but a true smile. "I'm no angel, but sure... I'll be anything you want me to be, as long as I'm yours..." He wanted to cringe at how cheesy that was, but he was trying to let this new emotion lead him. Though he knew he was doing something right, her cheeks were red as cherries and she had the sweetest smile on her face. Maybe this love thing wouldn't be to difficult to figure out afterall.
