Chapter 1: The Hunt!

     Today is my fifth birthday, and I'm nervous because today is also my first and maybe only hunt.

                          
     I say that because yesterday I visited the Pawman of the pack and she said that I'll only have one hunt with the pack. My mom made me leave before I got to hear her explain it all. 

                          
    All I know is I won't be having another hunt with the pack. I could be a beta, or end up getting lost or die... I don't want to die. Whatever happens, will happen. A Pawman is never wrong.

                          
    "Jerome come on runt!" My dad barked. As always in the pack, he leads the hunt to observe the cub going. Since he calls all cubs going on the hunt runt, I took no offense to this. My mom saw me off crying. I told her I loved her. She told me to do something to make her proud. I promised. And we left looking for animals for dinner. 

                          
All we found were rabbits until one of the other wolves spotted...
