Jungkook stepped through the threshold of the noisy, dimly lit building as his friend tugged on his arm harshly. They'd wanted to get him out of the house for one last party before he left for college. He'd be halfway across the globe for at least a year and they wouldn't be able to hang out like this for a long time.

Jungkook wasn't really in the mood to go out, since he had to get up early, but something in his gut told him that he didn't want to miss this opportunity. So here he was, standing by the bar and waiting on his drink to arrive. It was then that he noticed a slender figure from across the room, his silver hair illuminated under the flashing neon lights of the thriving club. It wasn't his intention to stare at another man, but his beauty was captivating to many eyes in the room. Jungkook shifted his weight onto the edge of the bar, watching the other dance to the rhythm of the music. He wanted to approach the other, his sun-kissed skin shimmering radiantly from the compacted bodies and heat. Jungkook turned toward the bartender, ordering two drinks in hopes that a little liquid courage would help him approach the other with confidence. He promptly downed one of the drinks, grabbing the other one as he turned toward the dance floor once again.

He wasn't great with large social gatherings like this and it petrified him to think of being rejected, but something about the other male was drawing him in. Calling to him in a sense as he swallowed his anxiety and stepped over towards the male still dancing obliviously to the rhythmic music reverberating through their bodies. Jungkook walked closer towards the other male, his body drawn to him as the other turned toward him with radiantly warm chocolate eyes. His come-hither expression was intoxicating to Jungkook as the other took the drink from Jungkook's hand. "Care to dance?" the other asked with a sultry voice, grinding his ass against Jungkook in the most sinful way. Jungkook didn't even care that this unknown male drank the drink he was going to sip as the silver-haired beauty twisted his body to face Jungkook.

That night Jungkook did not want to return home. He'd spent his entire time dancing with the strange and attractive man that now sat silently in his passenger seat. "Soooo, I never learned your name," Jungkook blurted out, earning a soft giggle from the silver-haired beauty. "It was too loud to hear anything," Jungkook defended, his face heated with embarrassment. The stranger offered a boxy smile, his eyes disappearing into cute crescent moons. "My name is Taehyung. And what's your name, stranger?" Taehyung asked and Jungkook stared at the other's effervescent beauty. His features were illuminated in the soft, pale moonlight as his skin gleamed effortlessly and his eyes shined bright with life. Jungkook didn't want to admit he was already this attracted to a man he barely knew, but he couldn't help himself. He was utterly and undeniably captivated by Taehyung.

"M- My name is Jungkook," Jungkook finally answered, gripping the steering wheel tighter in his hand. He wanted to hold Taehyung's hand instead but was certain the other would find that atrocious as Jungkook turned towards Taehyung. He'd parked his car near the edge of the building near a mountain ledge that overlooked the city as they both stared out at the milky night sky littered with luminous stars. "Do you believe in fate?" Jungkook finally asked as Taehyung thought about his question for a moment. Jungkook could feel the palms of his hands sweat as Taehyung remained silent for a long period of time, making Jungkook think he was a fool for inquiring about such nonsense. Finally, Taehyung opened his mouth to speak, his plump lips a cherry red that Jungkook found even more attractive- tempted to kiss him. "I may believe in fate," Taehyung whispered playfully, stretching his arms out in front of him. "Do you believe in fate?" Taehyung asked, countering the question towards Jungkook.

Jungkook honestly didn't know what to believe, but he was convinced that he was supposed to meet Taehyung tonight as he remained silent. He wanted to be honest and tell Taehyung he didn't believe in fairytale things, but then he'd be completely lying. "I- I don't know what to believe, honestly," Jungkook answered, turning to stare out toward the midnight blue sky and all the stars above. He rested his hands on the steering wheel to keep from snatching Taehyung's hands into his own and rested his chin on the back of his hand. He couldn't see the way Taehyung was staring at him with eyes full of love and intrigue as he was too focused on the night sky. Taehyung was quiet for a moment, trying to pull Jungkook back into the conversation. "Oh! Thank you for offering to give me a ride home! I could have walked home from here, but I do feel much safer with you beside me," Taehyung started as Jungkook snapped his attention back towards Taehyung. "You felt a lot more familiar to me than anyone else," Taehyung added softly, a light pink dusting his cheeks.
