Hello, my loves~♡ I'm back with another one shot.:3 Although, this one is not a taekook one. I wanted to keep it the original characters for this one so the picture above is them. If you're wondering, there is a ten year age gap between Johnathan and Ryshelle. One is a vampire, the other a siren. Yes, this story will talk about the death of these two major characters and I specifically wrote in a way the vampire could take his own life without actually dying. You'd have to read the whole thing to learn how and why I did that though.😂🤣 This is a story that I've been working on since my 8th grade year in middle school and all throughout high school. I'm still working on it even now to better the writing because my writing has improved exponentially since high school and I'd be too embarrassed to share the original copy.🤣😂 Also, I'm not good at drawing backgrounds so please excuse the lack of background. It's literally just my favorite colors blended together.😂🤣 Also! This story isn't really written in this format but to get a good excerpt from the entire story and condense it into a one shot took a lot of effort to think of so here's the result. There's a lot that happens between them, this is just some of the things.🤣😂 There are some mild adult themes, so please be advised when reading~♡ Other than that, please enjoy~♡

Aurora, Natasha, Marco, and Camillia stood admiring their parents' perfectly preserved corpses. Their golden casket, surrounded by various flowers of varying colors with a glass lid remained shut away in the basement until an anniversary. Beside their mother lay their father, eternally holding her delicate hand in his larger one. It was the 12th anniversary of their mother's brutal murder in the middle of the street. Jealousy fueled the actions that lead to their mother dying in their father's arms in the unforgiving public. That much they knew from their grandparents, who now raised them since they had no other parental figure. Their father was supposed to have raised them but Aurora remembered that day well since it was mentally and emotionally scarring. He'd dropped them off with their grandparents, claiming that he had errands to run. Although, their father's mother had a bad feeling about the somberness with which he'd left them and they returned home to check on him. Aurora knew he'd been depressed without their mother. The sorrow was permanently engraved on his face and in his heart anytime something reminded him of her. When they'd entered the house, it was eerily quiet and Aurora thought she'd check in their parent's room for him. Only she didn't expect him to have a loaded gun pressed to his temple and didn't expect him to pull the trigger as she was entering the room.
She was forever scarred by that moment and couldn't forgive their father for leaving them the way he did. Their grandparents smiled at them as they offered small snacks to the children, trying to take their minds off the pain they may be experiencing. Especially since Aurora was only two years old when her mother was killed and four when her father killed himself. They tried to ensure that she wouldn't remember the pain of their deaths for too long and spark up another depressive episode. She could tell her grandparents hated taking her to her therapist, although she had no idea why they hated the thought so much.
"How are you four doing today?" Lorena asked softly, holding out a steaming hot cup of tea on a platter for each one of them. Natasha took her cup first, sipping sophisticatedly on her tea as she stared at her grandmother. "It could be a better day, but you know, some bitch didn't like our mother being with our father," Natasha answered straight-laced, annoyed by the day. Lorena chuckled softly as the other three grabbed their cups as well, Camillia adding vodka into her tea before sipping. Lorena sighed at that action, snatching the spiked tea from Camillia's fingers. "You're too young to be drinking," Lorena chastized in annoyance, sighing heavily at the look on Camillia's face. "Look, I know you guys are going through a hard time right now. Still adjusting to living with us but you don't need to throw your lives away either," Lorena stated calmly and softly, tucking a stray piece of Camillia's hair behind her ear. "Why don't we take a look at some memories of them through their eyes?" Lorena inquired tenderly, conjuring their memories through her body. She blinked slowly before projecting their memories through her body onto the wall behind the children. They watched as the events through their parents' lives when they'd first met unfolded.
