Flip the Script Part 2

I continued, "Then Lieutenant Kim, the male convict, the one supposedly dead, I know him personally. He's my Ex-Boyfriend. He's an obsessed psychopath and his obsession happens to be...me. I know how he acts, maybe even how he thinks. That's why I'm sure we can catch him tonight, because I know 100% he will show up at the concert."

Everyone in the room looked skeptical. "Taliah..." Kihyun began, "Given what happened between you two in the past, do you really think you should be trying to face him head on like this?"

I looked over to Kihyun, and he did make a valid point. "You make a good point," I admit, "but things are different now. Back then, I was on my own, but now, I have everyone in this room who is willing to help me out. I have people who have my back."

"Even if I was to believe that you could catch this convict," Lieutenant Kim began, "I am not comfortable with putting civilians in harms way. You should just tell me any and all information you have and leave the matter to the police."

I quickly turned my head to the Lieutenant , "Please Lieutenant Kim, let me just tell you my plan, and then if  after hearing it you're still uneasy, I will cooperate."

Lieutenant Kim sat there for a minute looking deep in thought, but agreed to hear me out. "Thank you so much!" I said. For the first time in a while, I was taking my life and future by the reigns. I'm going to decide how this goes, no one else. I slowly started walking around the conference room, "Like I said before, Cole will not pass up on coming to tonight's concert. It's too good an opportunity. I'll be exposed to the public, and not somewhere he has to scout or watch for days. However, I want him to find me. Let him come. I'll set the perfect trap."

I turned to face Lieutenant Kim directly, "Lieutenant Kim, do you have access to tiny cameras? The ones that are easily hidden? And maybe some walkie talkies?"

"Walkie Talkies are easy to come by. We do have the cameras, but we must have a proper reason to check them out. Why?"

"This is what I'm thinking. Cole will appear to 1 of 3 options at the concert. Option 1, the most obvious and most likely is me. Option 2 and also very likely is Yongguk. Cole is very possessive. If he doesn't jump on stage and snap your neck Yongguk, he'll have a strong urge to do so after. And last but not least, Option 3 is the boys. They'll also be present and there's no doubt in my mind that he already knows about our living situation. He'll be particularly ticked off about that. However, Cole isn't stupid, so he won't try to attack 7 grown men at once. That's why they're the least likely."

"Hold on a minute!" Yongguk yelled out, "Are you trying to tell me I might die tonight!? You crazy Ex wants to come snap my neck!?"

"Don't worry Yongguk," I replied, "I won't let that happen." and flashed a quick smile. "Ya! I'm not done!" he yelled again but I just ignored him and continued with my plan.

"I want to plant three cameras for video evidence and three walkie talkies so that we can not only establish who he came to see, but also record the conversations that take place. Manager-nim and Lieutenant Kim will be in a separate room with three corresponding walkie talkies tuned to different frequencies. One for each room. We'll hide them in my dressing room, set Yongguk up in his own dressing room separate from the rest of B.A.P, and then Monsta X in a guest room. There will be strike teams nearby each location disguised as staff so as not to draw attention. Cole is very stealthy, even if you think he's not there, he is. If you think you haven't seen him, he's seen you 10x over. They MUST blend in. With this, the trap is set, what do you think?"

Lieutenant Kim looked contemplative. He was silent for a while, but then he finally spoke, "The plan is not half bad, however it still leaves you and the others involved very open to attack, injury, and even death, I don't like the uncertainty."

"Willie taught me judo, he knows I can take care of myself." I said.

Willie shrugged his shoulders. "I did teach her well." he said.

"The boys are also together and not alone. Cole cannot take the 7 of them together." I continued.
"So I guess the only one really in a lot of danger is Yongguk." All eyes turned to him.

"What?" he questioned, "Are you asking me to risk my life? For what! To catch some sicko bastard with attachment issues? I don't think so."

"Yongguk. Do you trust me?" I asked.
He panned me over out of the corner of his eye, "Yea, but what about it?"

"Then trust I won't let anything happen to you!" I said. "That man is indeed a killer, but we have the opportunity to stop him now before anyone else gets hurt. If not now, then I promise you someone will die. Not just hurt, but dead. He will isolate one of us, and take us out one by one. Plus it runs a little deeper than that for me. That psycho escaped the punishment he should have had on a bogus plea, and now I have the chance to get a confession for what he did all those years ago. Won't you help me out?" I gave him the best puppy eyes I could. It's kinda crazy I'm trynna persuade this man to risk his life right now, but when I said I'd protect him, I meant that.

I could see his resolve weaken, then he scoffed, "Unbelievable. Fine! There! I can't believe this. All I know is that I want a bullet proof vest."

I turned back to Lieutenant Kim with an expectant face.

"Alright." he said. "Everyone in this room knows the risks. If you all are still willing to go through with this, then I no longer have any reason to stand in your way. I'll talk to my captain to obtain the things you need, and gather the men needed for the operation."

"One more thing," I said, "No matter what you see, no matter what you hear, you do not interrupt what's happening in my room. I will handle it. That's what code words are for correct?" I could tell they wanted to ask questions about what I meant, but none spoke up.

"Then, with that being said, shall we make the preparations?"
