Aru sat groaning in her bed, mumbling about how school shouldn't start that early. She woke up, dark bags under her eyes. She stretched, and ran to the bathroom, where she found a small note attached to her forehead.

Don't worry, it's not permanent! Don't forget to bring us a cookie! You owe us!

~Rudy+Nikita

She removed the note only to find a bunch of scribbles on her forehead, from lightning bolts to kissy faces. The good thing was, that this had happened to Aru before, so she knew how to get rid of the scribbles quickly.

Aru brushed her teeth, took a quick shower, and went to go eat breakfast. She quickly grabbed a cookie and cereal bar, grumbling in annoyance. She sprinted out the door, waving goodbye to her mother as she stuffed the cereal bar in her mouth. On the way, she bumped into someone. A pretty short someone.

"Hey, mini Mini," Aru said, smirking at the name she gave the petite girl.

Truth be told, she didn't truly know Mini as well as she would have liked to, but she spent too much time in a place where Aru's head would spin, AKA the library.

"Hey Aru." Mini grumbled, stuffing her fists in her sweatshirt pockets.

"Geez. What's got you down?" Aru asked the girl, concerned. She might've not known her that well, but it was good enough to call her a friend.

Mini buried her face in her hands, "I sorta freaked out some of the kids in English class with my essay on the common cold."

Aru snorted, "That's not so bad."

Mini groaned and continued, "And I sort of wrote all the most painful ways you could die via the common cold."

Aru clicked her tongue and sighed, "Now that makes a lot more sense."
