The new student was the only thing on his mind as the day went by and he kept trying to convince himself that it wasn't him.
To convince himself that he couldn't possibly be the guy that he once knew years ago.

It was impossible.

"Are you gonna tell me what's been bugging you now?" The older asked as he put his lunch on the table and sat down next to Fluke.

"It's nothing, I've just been anxious about our first day."

"Anxious about our first day my ass," Earth laughed. "If you're not ready to talk about it then that's okay, but when you are ready, I'm all ears."
Fluke smiled warmly and laid his head on the elders shoulder.
"This is why you're my best friend." Fluke pouted as he opened his mouth to eat the macaroni and cheese that Earth was feeding him.

"And here I was thinking it was my juicy ass that got you hooked." Earth said with a sigh before receiving a smack from the boy next to him.

"Well that's part of it too."

Lunch went by rather quickly and Fluke couldn't help but notice that the new kid wasn't in the cafeteria with the rest of school. He also didn't have any classes with him so far and he didn't know whether to be sad or grateful. There was only 4 more classes for the day and Fluke couldn't be happier that it was almost time to go home.

He walked into his 7th period class and took a seat in the back of the room.
Unsurprisingly, he was one of the first ones there so he decided to go on his phone and bookmark some recipes that he wanted to try later.
By the time the bell rang, the class was full and he put away his phone so he could focus on the lesson. As the teacher began writing on the board, Fluke couldn't help but feel like he was being watched.

A chill ran through his spine as he looked around the room and locked eyes with that same boy for the second time that day.
This time, instead of having a staring contest in the middle of the hallway, he simply looked away and silently prayed that he didn't look like a coward for doing so. Minutes passed and he still felt the same pair of eyes staring into his soul.

He chose to ignore it but soon had that option taken away when the owner of the eyes got up from his chair and sat next to him.

Fluke looked up at the man who had switched seats and gave him a small smile.

"Hi, I'm Ohm." He stated as he put his backpack next to his seat and took out his notebook.

Shit, it is him.

"I'm Fluke." The smaller boy said as he tried not to sound like he wasn't completely losing his shit.

"You know, I could have sworn that I saw you leaving Phachara's class after third period."

"Yeah, I have him for Calculus." Fluke said, a hint of confusion in his voice.

Why was he asking about his third period?

"Oh, I didn't know you had two math classes." Ohm responded as he nodded his head, clicking his pen against the wooden desk.

Okay, now he was beyond confused.

"What do you mean two math classes?" Fluke asked and Ohm pointed to the whiteboard where the teacher had written 'Calculus Honors' and Fluke felt his heart stop.

He went to the wrong classroom.

Goddamit this was such as freshman mistake to make and he could feel the redness on his cheeks. He contemplated whether he should just admit to his mistake and walk out of the class but then he decided he would rather jump off a bridge into a volcano than admit that he, as a senior, had walked into the wrong class on the first day of school.

He quietly put his stuff away and shrunk in his desk, holding his breath when the teacher did a roll call.

When she had finished the attendance and didn't notice her extra student, he felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulder. That is, until he saw the boy next to him.

He watched in horror as Ohm slowly raised his hand, an evil smirk evident on his face.

Fluke silently begged for him not to do it, shaking his head erratically and putting his hands together.

"Yes, Mr. Thitiwat?" The teacher asked and Fluke was ready to end it all right then and there.

"I think you forgot someone on the attendance, Miss." Ohm stated, pointing at the cowering boy in the next seat.

Death.

That is all he wished upon the tall man next to him as he closed his eyes and prepared to be the laughing stock of the century.

"Oh, I'm sorry. What's your name sweetheart?"

"Fluke Natouch."

"That's weird, I don't see your name on the list. Are you sure you're in the right class?" She asked and in his head he was already planning his funeral.

"Oh, I think I must have gone to the wrong class by mistake." He said with a nervous laugh as he heard the students snicker around him. He did the walk of shame to the door and turned around one last time before leaving.

There he saw Ohm, laughing his ass off at the small boy and in that second he knew.

He was going to get back at Ohm Thitiwat if it was the last thing he did.
