I was depressed I couldn't save mom from the underworld I have no one now I'm all alone in this big scary world. SURE I have a dad but he's a god. and as of right now I'm not too comfy about him. I could stay at camp year-round like Annabeth  but I want to go to the apartment first to grab my stuff

I crept into the apartment slowly I tiptoe my way back to my room when I stop and see smelly gabe dead. he's on the couch his head is bleeding and worst of all it STINKS

being the sensible 12-year old I am I call 911 you might be asking why? it's simple I'm already a "suspected terrorist" and if they find out about me entering the apartment and leaving a dead smelly Gabe in there I would be suspected even more to the point I might not be able to go outside and I can't stay at camp forever can I? so what do I do? call 911 and act like a scared 12-year-old easy I'm already a very scared 12 year old welp here goes nothing

the police arrive and ask me a few things soon I was sitting in the station waiting

they asked me for some DNA for a DNA test I refused I don't want them to find out half of my DNA is missing BUT THEY STILL TOOK IT very rude I might add

so here I am a very grumpy and bored ADHD 12-year-old in a very boring office

I took out riptide and started fidgeting with it after what felt like DAYS(which was probably only an hour or two)  a police officer name Mr. Kenny I think enters holding a sheet of paper grinning with a hint of excitement in his eyes

"Mr.Jackson," Mr. Kenny says his voice filled with a hint of excitement but also a bit of seriousness

"yes?" I asked confused

"It seems like your mother had an older brother"
Mr. Kenny said trying to hide his excitement and trying but failing to sound serious

"WHAT? that's impossible mom was an only child." I was surprised, to be honest I mean

MOM HAS A BROTHER I HAVE AN UNCLE HOW COME I'VE NEVER MET THEM BEFORE OR WHY DIDN'T MOM TALK ABOUT THEM?!

"It seems like your mother was adopted by the jackson's when she was very young and her name was changed her real name was Celine Wayne your uncle is bruce Wayne," Mr. Kenny says still trying to sound serious seriously what's so exciting about this?

"who?" I asked I think I've heard of that name before from the Aphrodite and Athena campers

"BRUCE WAYNE the multi-billionaire the owner of Wayne enterprises don't you know him kid?" Mr. Kenny asked kinda surprised like I was supposed to know who this bruce Wayne person was

"umm sorry... I didn't watch the news and had any access to social media... I don't know him.." I said embarrassed

"well kid your uncle agreed to take custody of you his arriving in a few minutes get ready," Mr. Kenny said excitedly leaving a very surprised and confused me all alone to think
