Part 2 > Adam and Johnny goodman

You were over at the Goodman's every Friday for Friday night dinner.

You have to admit, you wouldn't have it any other way.

Johnny and Adam stuck to their plan on trying to win your heart every chance they got. It made you think you were some prize to be won and you weren't sure if that should be considered a good thing or not.

Today was a special as it was your birthday. You said to Jackie not to make a big deal out of it as you didn't want to attract any more attention than you already have, but you had a feeling she's gone and done just that.

You were about to ring the doorbell until you saw a car pulling into the drive way. Johnny and Adam jump out, spotting you.

"Ah, Lovely timing," Johnny smiled.

"I'll say," you said.

"Hi Adam,"

"Hi, {Y/n},"

Johnny placed the key in the door and opened it to show that Jackie had put up a banner saying "Happy birthday"

Johnny and Adam Holt to examine everything in confusion.

"Is it someone's birthday we don't know about?" Adam said before turning to look at you.

"I told her not to..." You cringed.

Jackie came running out the kitchen squealing at the three of you happily.

"Happy birthday, love!" She squeals, sweeping you up in her arms.

"You didn't have to," you say.

"Aw don't be daft,"

"Hello to you too, mother dearest," Adam jokes.

"Hi boys," she greets.

"Well come on then, dinners nearly ready," she says.

Johnny smiles to you and follows his mum into the dining room, leaving you in the hall contemplating on whether to join or not. Adam notices and stops in his tracks to check on you.

"You alright?"

"Yeah, Sorry. It's just a lot to take in," You said.

"Tell me about it," he laughs.

The two of you awkwardly stood together in the hall until jackie calls for yous.

"Hello banbenos," Martin greets.

"Hi dad," Adam says.

"Hi Martin," you greet.

"When did she get here?" Martin questions himself.

The two of you ignore him and walk into the dining room to take a seat leaving him squabbling behind.

"I've made steak today," Jackie smiles.

"Skill mogul!" Johnny beams as Martin takes a seat down next to Jackie.

"Lovely bit of squirrel," he says, giving her a kiss before tucking into his food.

"Thank you Jackie. Really," you smile.

"Awh, it's no problem a tall, love," she waves.

During your meal you could feel someone's leg touching yours. You looked around the table to see that everyone was tucking into their meals. The way the table was layed out, Adam sat across from, Johnny beside him. Jackie sat at the front and Martin beside you. The question was, whos leg was touching yours?

You looked over at Johnny and watched as he ate with a smirk on his face. You pretended to have dropped your fork on the floor and apologised before leaning down to get it.
