Leilah rolled up Remi's sleeve, examining her injuries. "You two wait here, okay? Blyke can you carry her?"

She knows my name too!?

Blyke just stood there, carrying Remi with his hands, in what felt like they're in the middle of nowhere. Should I just run?

But he remembered that he couldn't escape as quick with his hands restricted to carry his friend. I can't use my energy beam. Dammit! How did she know our names?

"Hey Remi, what should we do?" He asked, but it was silent, so he took a peek at her face "Remi...?" She has already fainted before he realized. Is... Is she dead!? Panicking, he moved his ears closer to her, and noticed a small hint that she's still breathing

Thank god. He sighed in relief "Now I don't have a choice but to let the woman help, do I?" He asked himself

After about fifteen minutes, he heard an engine car coming "Get in" 

Blyke just nodded like a good boy, but suddenly he stopped, "Wouldn't we stain your car with blood?" 

"No worries..."

"O-okay"

The inside of the car smells nice, but it's a shame that there was also the smell of warm blood dripping from Remi's arm. Not to mention an unconscious body of the guy they just took down on the passenger seat.

Even though we got stronger, we still... Discouraged, he took a glance at the woman driving. Even though Leilah tries to be somewhat cheerful and easy going, the two couldn't help but to feel afraid

Her presence alone was definitely overwhelming, and the fact that she's not talking at all now that she's driving, makes them even more uncomfortable. The sound of the car was mesmerizing, for the fact he doesn't know where this woman is taking them

But before he knew it, he was sleepy, and his eyes were heavy. The moment he shut his eyes, he fell asleep

"...h...ey......hey....wake up!"

Blyke jolted from his deep sleep with his eyes powered up. Seemed like he thought he was still in battle "O-oh... I'm sorry"

"Can you walk on your own?" Leilah asked, standing outside the car

"Y-yeah don't worry" Blyke looked around the car, turned out that his friend is already gone, "Where's my friend?"

"I already brought her inside"

Inside? He asked himself. Inside to where? He got out from the car, and was greeted by a large building. ZetaSci? What kind of company is this?

Once inside trailing behind Leilah, he was just looking around awkwardly, like a nervous child on his first day of school. What the heck is this? And where's Remi?

"Don't worry. I'm taking you to her"

Did... did she just read my mind? No... I must be overthinking it

"You must really care about this girl, do you?" Leilah asked, while still walking in front of him

"Yeah—, I mean... yes"

*swiiish...* An automatic door opened, and there was Remi, laying on what seemed to be a high-tech ventilator. But it really was different from what he would see in normal hospitals

"Remi!" Without hesitation, he ran up towards her. Her arm was already healed. I-is she healed? Blyke immediately turned to Leilah and bowed "Thank you ma'am!"

"Don't mention it... besides, I want to discuss something with both of you, once she wakes up" Leilah held Remi's healed arm. She should be able to move it now, but it's a shame the scars are still apparent. Leilah examined the scars closely, but she suddenly snapped her eyes wide open

"W-what's wrong ma'am?"

"Is this...an injection?"

Blyke's face darkened, "Yes... she used an amplifier. D-do you happen to know about them?"
