"Yo, an exception was a while ago." Third lazily snapped.
Sumulyap sa'kin si Tita. "Okay! I'm sorry! I just can't help fighting my disappointment after she said there is nothing going on between you. You can't blame me! I'm expecting!"
"We... are expecting," Mom joined the conversation. I was surprised by her sudden presence. She just came out of nowhere.
Third greeted Mom at doon ko lang napagtanto na hindi ko man lang nabati nang maayos ang Mommy niya. He's always like this to my parents. Respectful at palabati. While me on the other hand is constantly unable to talk. Masiyado kasi akong pressured!
"How are you, Tita... si Tito po?" I don't even know if I delivered it well!
"Uhuh! I see, huh? You're swiftly avoiding the topic! You were asking me random things now," she chuckled, making Third smirk.
"W-what? I mean... hindi po!"
Narinig ko ang pigil na chuckle ni Mommy sa likod. Grr Mom. Oh please just wash me and help me clean my mess!
Tita can understand some Filipino words but doesn't know how to speak learnedly. I guess she understood me because she laughed.
"Nevermind, anak."
Wow! I was... shocked. Like... really really...shocked! She sounded a bit slang, but at least I finally listened to her saying some Filipino words!
Ang lucky ko pa, ah! Beyond too many words, anak pa! I'm... so kilig! Nanay lang naman siya ng man of dreams ko!

But it's true!
Such a night- dreamer.
"Sending you a fair few luck hunting on Third's way!" She giggled and turned around when someone called her name. Kasabay niyang umalis si Mommy kaya naiwan na kaming dalawa na dito ni Third.
"Have you found my way or at least one of my ways?"
I rolled my eyes sa nakangising face ni Third. Dadagdag pa siya!
"Tara na! Kabahan ka sana sa speech mo later." Naglakad na ako papunta sa unahang table para umupo na. It served as VIP for the family.
"Oh, I'm scared," he sarcastically said.
For the next two hours, people were clapping gracefully while Third was already walking back from the podium of the stage. He just finished his.. let's say awesome, incredible, and powerful speech. Nabitin sa air ang pagpalakpak ko nang makitang nakataas ang brow niya. Third was smiling to mock me. Napunit ang tawa ko sa pagsimangot.
