Five Months Later

"Henry!" Charles smiled.

It had become the best part if the day when I went to go visit him.

"Still want to leave this place?" I asked.

"I mean, a little bit," he shrugged.

I walked into his cell, again, more like a room.

"Talk to me then," I said, sitting down.

He looked up at me, "Well, its just that I miss flying a helicopter and missions."

"Remember-"

"Henry! You aren't hearing what I'm saying!" Charles yelled.

"No need to yell, I'm right here," I said, calmly.

"Henry, I miss my job, and I don't want to be a toppat," he said.

The realization hit me.

"You want to leave?" I asked.

"If you'd let me go, yes," he sighed.

"Will I ever see you again?" I asked.

"If you let the clan go, probably, but I don't know," he said, looking at the ground.

I sighed, "You're free to go."

"Huh?"

"If you're unhappy here, I'm not gonna keep you," I said.

"Are you serious?" he asked.

"Yes, now let me show to to an escape pod that will take you home," I said, reaching out my hand.

He took my hand, and I saw a little blush on his face. I won't lie, it lit my heart up a bit.

"Right this way," I said, still holding Charles's hand to lead him.

"O-Okay," he stuttered.

I walked down the halls, Charles following behind me.

When we reached the escape pod, I felt a sense of dread. Charles looked like he was excited, but he didn't want to leave.

"This is it, I guess," he said.

"I guess so," I replied.

Shockingly, he gave me a hug.

"I'm gonna miss you, buddy," Charles whispered.

"I'm gonna miss you, too," I whispered back.

When we released from the hug, we looked each other in the eyes for a solid five seconds.

Charles broke the tension by saying, "I should go now."

"You can put in where you want to go," I said.

"Alright," he said.

"Bye Charles," I said.

"Bye, Henry," he replied, before hitting the button to leave.

My heart sank. I would possibly never see him again, unless he was captured, or I was captured.

I let out a soft sigh.

"Henry! Why the hell didn't you make a move!" Ellie yelled.

"Gah!" I jumped.

"You are such a baby," Ellie said.

"Shut up," I said.

"You should have made a move!" she said.

"But what if it didn't blow over well?" I asked.

"DID YOU NOT SEE HOW HE LOOKED AT HIM?" Ellie yelled at Reginald and Right.

"I mean not really," Right said.

"It was sexual tension," Reginald said.

"REG-"

"See? It was perfect," she said.

"You three have a heist next week, I suggest you prepare for it," I said, walking off.
