I could have walked away
I could have cut you off
Could have left
Could have been so angry with you
Could have burst into tears.
But the truth of the matter is
I learned to love you too much to ever hate you
And even when you do things that cause disappointment
I will only ever love you more.
You're the one that walked away
You're the one that cut me off
I don't know if you were angry with me,
Don't know if you burst into tears.
But the truth of the matter is
You fell in love with my mind and a piece of my soul
And even though you pulled out and disappeared
I will only ever care about you more.
Because I could have walked away
I could have cut you off
Could have left
Could have been so angry with you
Could have burst into tears.
But the truth of the matter is
