Emotions, thoughts, behaviors-
There are many.
However, they are not always
Exposed.
Hurt my feelings
Break my heart
Anger me
Tear me apart
Build me up
Break me down
Pick me up and spin me 'round
Dissect my every fiber of existence
Tap my fragile shell to pieces
Discover that it's made of flesh
And ashes
Repairable, renewable
Restored.
Why oh why oh why oh why
I canna understand
What now what now what now what now
I dinna trust your shaking hand.
Barrage from all sides
Pelt me with your lies
You'll never get a reaction
Cuz
I keep it all inside.
Oh, but I lied.
I keep it all inside.
Eventually it festers, boils,
Overflows-breaks.
The glass is tempered
But there's only so much it can take.
