The Paradox

"So here's the deal, I think I figured out what is going on." At the sound of this Rey and Ben, who previously were not really focused on the exchanges between Ahsoka and Anakin, started to pay attention to the Togruta speaking. Luke had been paying attention ever since his sister went and hugged the Togruta that he had never met, and had been intrigued by the conversation that followed.

"So my beloved friend Ezra here, discovered the World Between Worlds, which in a nutshell is a path way between all time and space." Ahsoka explained. "He saved me from a near death experience on Malachor by pulling me out of time," Anakin couldn't help but interrupt at this point, "What were you doing on Malachor?" "That's a long story, and not really relevant right now. As I was saying, Ezra thought that if he could save me then he could also save his master Kanan from a fuel explosion. He pulled Kanan out of danger, but in the process accidently killed his past self, which created sort of a time paradox, where the nine of us were pulled out of our time and ended up here." When Ahsoka finished she was greeted with eight confused, and or, shocked faces.

Leia was the only one to respond with actual words "And here I thought my week couldn't get any weirder." "Come on Leia out of all the stuff we've been through, this isn't that bad." Luke was indeed shocked by this new discovery, but the young jedi was not one to back down from a challenge. "Are you kidding me! Of course it's been 'that bad'. First Han got rescued, then we found a second death star, and then we defeated the Empire. Oh, and don't even get me started on my new heritage, I mean it's weird enough that you're my brother, but then I find out our father was one of the most hated men in the universe! But no, we've had crazier weeks before!" "Okay, okay, calm down! I didn't mean to hit a nerve!"

Ashoka knew she saw something familiar in Leia the day she met her, and it definitely wasn't something from Bail. But now that she had seen her brother and the fact that their father was 'one of the most hated men in the universe' she couldn't help but try and connect the dots. So she went out on a limb and asked the main question on her mind "Who is your father?" Luke didn't know how to respond, he knew he could trust her after seeing the way his sister reacts to seeing her, but how would he respond, Darth Vader or Anakin Skywalker. Both men were his father but which would have the better reaction, he did not know, so he looked to his sister for help.

Leia saw the look on her brother's face and he was conflicted on how to answer. Her first instinct was to respond with Anakin Skywalker, but something inside her stopped her from doing so, instead she said "Darth Vader". She said it with more confidence than she was expecting and she also expected for at least someone to pull a trigger on her, but she was ready to defend her father, no matter what.

Ashoka was surprised but she did always suspect something more going on between the senator and her master than friendship. She looked at Luke and Leia and blinked back tears, and almost on impulse ran up to them and wrapped them both in a tight embrace, and released them a few seconds later. "What was that for, you're not going to like merder us or something?" Luke was bewildered, when you tell someone that you're the child of the second most despised man in the galaxy the last thing you expect is a hug. Ashoka on the other hand completely understood his reaction, and pretty much expected it. "No, I won't kill you, actually that's the last thing I would do. But let me just say, I knew it! In your face Echo! In your face Tup! In your face Master Plo! In your face Lux! In your face Obi- Wan! I knew it! I was right all along! Wooo!"

Everyone else around Ashoka, even those who didn't know her were worried for her sanity. "Is she okay?" Ezra said to mainly his master but all so everyone else that was watching Ashoka jump around like an idiot. Anakin knew his former padawan too well not to realize her celebration dance, if you could even call it that "She only goes berserk like this went she wins a bet, and only the really good ones at that, but I have no clue what she won this time."
