Start from the beginning

"It's-it's nothing!"

"Like hell it is!" She shouted and he just collapsed on the bench behind him, pulling into himself.

Not know any other options she quickly grabbed his arm and pulled it out and jerked up his left sleeve. It really didn't shock her seeing the black cursed ink against his pale skin, but it just saddened her.

He pulled his arm back and hissed out, "Happy now!"

"I thought he would have waited until you were at least of age..." she whispered out.

"Yeah well he didn't...this is a punishment of my family."

"And what else?"

"What?"

"You don't expect me to believe that this was all of the punishment...there's always more with him."

"Where there's not!"

"There is, Draco."

"I-I can't say..."

"A curse?"

"My mom...he'll-he'll..." he started getting choked up.

Hermione without thinking grabbed his hand, "Shhh...you don't have to say anything now..."

After a few minutes, he seemed to calm down. "I know you don't want to say anything right now. But the others are really worried right now in there. Can you just speak a bit to them they all have been worried sick...I've been worried," Hermione whispered out the last part quietly.

"I'm sorry..."

"Don't be...later...it's okay," Hermione got out then he nodded. The two finally calmed down enough to go back. Once they entered the group was silent until they sat down.

Theo quirked his eyebrow, "what were you two doing...making out."

The two looked shocked for a second before Hermione spoke up, "Sorry we just had to settle a little spat we had before summer."

Draco nodded before he spoke, "So Blaze what happened with that one blonde girl before summer started?"

Everyone seemed to perk up hearing Draco talk so Blaze dramatically sighed, "OH THE WOES OF ME! IT JUST WASN'T MEANT TO BE! You see her..." Blaze told his story about the girl and everyone couldn't help but notice that Draco seemed to be more relaxed than before and Hermoine couldn't help but smile.

Soon the train stopped and signaled that they were there. Everyone gathered their stuff and started to leave when Hermione noticed Draco still sitting there.

"You coming?"

"Yes just give me a second be there soon."

Hermione nodded and left finding the carriage everyone was in and got in. "Hold it for a few minutes Draco  should be out soon." Not even three minutes later Draco was in with his stuff.

"Let's go."

Once they all settled in the Great Hall Hermione couldn't help but ask as the others were distracted. "What were you doing on the train when we left?"

"Potter seemed to be at eavesdropping on our conversations. So I stunned him."

"And?"

"And what?"

"There's always an and with you."

"AND I might have kicked his nose...don't worry I know the train wouldn't have left without Potter boy being in the school yet."

Hermione sighed, "sometimes I wish you could grow up...and sorry I forgot to warn you about Potter's new obsession.

"And that is?"

"You of course."

"Seriously..."

"Dead sadly. But it makes me happy...I can annoy him by saying he has a crush on you or something."

Draco flinched, "Gross...why would you put that image in my head!"

Hermione laughed softly and Dumbledore stood up to give his speech and give announcements.

For the most part, it was the basic stuff said every year, but when it came to the teachers. That Slugghorn was the new potions master and Snape was the new Defense Professor everyone was shocked.

"This is good Snape has always wanted that position and maybe this year we might actually learn something," Hermione happily said as the other tables seem to be put out about Snape.

"I think this is going to be a good year!" Daphne happily said. "It's just a feeling!"

"I hope you right..." Hermione whispered out as the feast appeared.

They all started digging into the food when the Great Hall doors opened and walked in Luna and Harry. Harry's nose bleeding a bit.

Hermione looked at Draco who smirked weakly at her. She just rolled her eyes.

"Boys..." she whispered under her breath before stabbing her chicken with her fork.
