Third Person's POV:

The great USSR is currently in his office, scolding the guard that hurt the small defenseless North Korea. Soviet was furious and had his hand clenched into a fist, slowly shaking due to him trying not to hit the guard. "Did you seriously expect that a child, no a baby, will actually listen to your orders!? They don't even understand us! As a matter of fact they don't even know the difference between something dangerous or safe! They can't even fight back!" Soviet yelled at his guard. The guard however had a blank expression, showing no fear or shock. That only caused for Soviet to get more angry. If it were in the olden days, he would have happily tortured this guard until they begged for their own death, but alas he can't do that because of silly rules he's forced to follow. Soviet sighed and went to call someone that will take the guard away and deal with them, by that he means that they'll arrest them.

While Soviet was dealing with that, North Korea was sleeping peacefully. He was loosely hugging the stuffed bear  in his sleep while having a peaceful look. The small Korean had a soft smile in his sleep as he dreamed about many random things. He dreamed of floating around with South Korea, going through fluffy, colorful clouds. The stuffed bear and tiger toy were also in the sweet dream the little one was having. Little North enjoyed floating around with his brother that was now gone-

North looked around desperately for his brother since that just suddenly disappeared when he wasn't looking. "Baa!" North called out hoping to hear the other Korean's response. The sky, from a cute pastel color, turned dark and everything felt cold now. North started to get more scared and went to go hug the stuffed tiger. But the moment he touched the stuffed tiger, it turned into sand and so did the stuff bear. Suddenly, little North started to fall into a black abyss. He tried to scream, cry out, but nothing came out of his mouth.

Soon a mirror appeared in front of North and he stopped falling. North hesitantly approached the mirror and looked at it. The mirror reflected North Korea.... but it was different..... The North Korea that looked back was taller, older than the current one that was staring back. The older of the two tried to get out of the mirror to no avail. He was stopped by the invisible wall which caused the older North Korea some distress. He soon started to hit the invisible wall trying to escape. The smaller Korean backed away from the mirror in fear. The other upon noticing this stopped, and tried to talk to the smaller North Korea. The said Korean looked at the mirror and noticed the older one talking to him but he heard nothing, just saw his mouth movements. That's when an invisible force started to pull the baby North Korea away from the mirror. The other started to have a disparate look and started to hit the invisible wall to get out and seem to be yelling.

Baby North Korea woke up shaking violently and started to cry out loud. The peaceful dream had turned into a confusing nightmare for the small country. He felt scared, very scared of what he saw and felt in the dream. His crying brought the attention of two maids, the ones in charge of him to be exact.

The two maids quickly rushed into the room and noticed the little one's distressed look and shaking. They tried to calm him down to no avail. One of the maids tried to give him the stuffed bear but North cried more and backed away from the stuffed animal. He was scared that it'll turn into sand if he touched it and that he'll have to go through the nightmare again. The other maid went to hold and hug but North didn't want that either. He tried to escape and pushed the maid away in fear. He didn't want to be with anyone but his brother. He wanted South Korea at that moment so badly but he wasn't anywhere nearby.

The maids looked at each other and thought of what to do to calm the clearly scared country. For now they placed North back on the bed since he clearly didn't want to be held since he seemed to have cried more loudly when they did. The maids tried to do many other things to calm down North, from doing funny faces, to trying to talk to him sweetly but nothing worked.

"What's going on here?" Soviet's voice was heard from behind and it made both maids jump. "M-master! We left North Korea to sleep and he just woke up crying. We tried to calm him down but nothing seems to be working," the maid explained. Soviet nodded before saying, "you two are excused, I'll deal with him." Both maids left the room leaving Soviet and little North Korea alone in the room.

North looked up to Soviet with his red puffy eye and stuffy nonexistent nose. He was also shaking like a leaf while having a distressed look. Soviet sighed and slowly approached the smaller country. North closed his eyes tightly and shook more. Soviet then went to hugged North. North instantly tried to escape and push Soviet, but Soviet wouldn't let him go. North cried out loud and wanted to escape so badly that he started to hit Soviet with his small chubby little hands. Soviet showed no reaction when North Korea started to hit him, instead he just held North closer.

It wasn't long before North stopped trying to escape and just cried. Soviet started to rub circles around the smaller one's back. Soviet at one point started to hum a soft tune in hopes it'll help calm down the Korean. Little North did slowly calm and slowly stopped shaking. Soviet smiled softly and continued to hum so North could continue to calm down. North felt a sudden comfort now being in the older one's arms, he felt safe and felt that he could trust Soviet. North is only sniffling now and clingy unto Soviet. Soviet patted North's little head, "there we go..... you probably just had a bad nightmare, you poor little thing." The two just stayed there like that, their bonds slowly growing.
