Falling asleep was proving to be difficult, despite the comfortable sheets and embrace of buck, an undesirable urge was keeping you up.

Even with the self assurance that sebastian was most likely already asleep, you kept still trying to trick your body into relaxing.

You tried not to stir or move in fear of him waking up, you were more mentally tired than physically.

However your hand was cramping and numb from being in the same spot for so long, slowly you moved it to rest against bucks abdomen.

It felt warmer then your face against him for some reason, curiously you gently moved your fingers around more soon realizing it wasn't against his shirt, but under.

Your hand sat still, you held your breath listening for what felt like minutes when in reality was no longer then ten seconds.

Nothing.

You exhaled softly in relief not wanting to deal with the embarrassment of buck getting the wrong idea and possibly sending you back to your room.

The next few minutes was filled with anxiety and fear. Trying to convince yourself to just slowly take your hand back without making too much contact.

Eventually, you built up the courage. Slowly you slid your hand down his body, your hand feeling a bit cooler after coming out from under his shirt.

Your heart nearly stopped feeling another hand take yours, sliding it gently back to the same spot.

"y/n, is there a reason you're trying to get my attention like this?"

You stayed silent not knowing what to say, but figured silence would speak more then actually saying something you tried to explain your reasoning.

"it was an accident.."

"You know I've been awake this entire time..didn't really feel like an accident." he chuckled sending vibrations down your body.

"No, honestly! I-it was an accident.."

Sebastian sat up turning on the dim bedside lamp, his face gentle and soft in the lamps glow.

You squinted your eyes a little letting them adjust to the new light.

"you're positive it was an accident?"

You quickly nodded, covering your slightly red face with the covers, only your eyes and forehead visable.

Sebastian smiled at the sight, looking to the side of the room in thought. His expression moving back to a neutral one before turning his attention back to you, a plan formulated in his head.

"well..if it really was an accident."

His eyes met yours, they seemed darker then earlier, or maybe it was the lighting.

He lifted his arms sliding his shirt off, tossing it onto his dresser to be put back later.

"how about you do it again, but this time it's not an accident?"

You sat up quickly, "i-ill be right back!" You quickly jumped up shutting yourself in his bathroom.

You slid down the door, sitting on the tile floor, your head buried against your knees.

This couldn't be real, this couldn't be real, you repeated in your head, of everyone at base you didn't expect buck to act like this.

You realized how childish this was, how childish you were being. After being the quiet and shy person of Rainbow, you've had enough.
