Chapter9: Try not to get jealous

This is something that I never wanted to happen, despite the whole 'joining the boys' soccer team' thing, I was hoping that everyone would forget about it and my existence all together.

"It doesn't look like anyone will be forgetting that soon, Jenna," Ryan said with a slight sad supporting look which was confusing.
Until I realize that the thought that was in my head, I spoke out loud for everyone to hear. Then Ryan gave me Charlie's phone to read,

"In case anyone is wondering who is the Newbie that dare this challenge to the amazing and dreamy 'David McLellan', her name is Jennifer Hawkins. A girl who comes with a warning. Jennifer is the new girl who tried joining KAU Knights' Soccer Boys' Team after finding out that there isn't a Girls' Soccer Team on campus, although she practically slayed the team's try-out. Jennifer hasn't gotten into the Boys' team for unknown reasons, though it seems that her charm and fierce attitude has gotten the team's caption's attention."

Before I could read anything more after that part, the wonderful smell of melted cheese, beef strips and tomato sauce caught my nose.

Looking down to find a plate of three more pizza slices which David had placed in front of me, "I really didn't tell anyone about the bet. Whenever Amber wants a juicy story to write on, she normally goes to Stephanie for one or ask some of the dancers in Sapphire who might have overheard you talking to her during practice."

David legit got me three more pizza slices as a way of saying sorry that the bet got leaked out. Trying to keep a smile from showing for this cute and sweet way of apologizing which is something that not many guys would do to get back on my good side.

Nodding my head with a small smile that mindlessly showed on my face before eating one of the delicious slices which I couldn't help moaning for the taste, then started double taking my bites before chewing. "Thank you and you're forgiven."

A rare small smile caused my stomach to twist a bit before my hand hit David's hand from touching my other two slices, "Just because you're off the hook, does not mean you're free to eat my food."

Charlie and RyRy were laughing their heads off for David's reaction when I hit him for the second time in a row, he'll learn soon enough about messing with my food, "But I got them for us."

"No, you got them for me since you ate my last one which I thanked you for." I declared while moving my chair to have a gap between me and David that almost made me feel slightly sad for.

But felt better after I started eating my second slice which wasn't a meat lover pizza, but a spicy chicken with sour cheese, a deep moan came from the back of my throat for the taste. "Jennie, do you want some privacy for you and your pizza?"

Licking my lips clean from the creaming source, not caring about Ryan's joke or that Charlie and David were laughing to tears from my reaction to every bite of pure goodness, "This pizza taste so good, never had a spicy chicken with sour cheese before."

"You've never had this type of pizza before, Ariel?" David was more surprised than shock for the fact that I'm eating this pizza for the first time which was cute of him.
I mean, I've tasted and eaten every type of pizza since I was a kid, but a sweet chilly chicken with sour cheese for a calming, surprising twist is a new one for me.

So, I shook my head which David nearly lost himself for, "How is that even possible?! This pizza is part of the best voted pizza and you're one out of a million of people who has never had tasted it before?"

I shrugged my shoulders, chasing the last bite with my water, "Well, when you put it like that, you're making me sound like I'm still part of the Stone Age or something."
