↳ Blessed with a day off, you wake up without feeling tired, which hasn't happened in a very long time. Happiness surges through you when you realize you didn't have a nightmare.

"Food, oh beautiful food," you sing as you shuffle out of your room and to your kitchen. When you open the pantry, you notice the lack of bread and sigh.

"I'll go with cereal then..."

The cereal is also running out. Thankfully, it still has enough for one breakfast, so you gladly take it and sit down, pouring milk into the bowl before shoving a spoon in.

"I'm going to have to go grocery shopping today... speaking of which, I met Bakugou at the market."

You chuckle as you recall how you ended up getting his number. It's still somewhat unbelievable that the two of you have gotten so close in such a short amount of time.

"Well, we might not be that close. Now that I think about it, we only text like once a week."

Gasping, you put down your spoon and stare at your phone intently.

"Don't tell me he actually doesn't think we're close? Am I forcing him into tutoring me?"

It came to you that you actually don't have friends outside of the agency, other than Bakugou. There was no time to, and there wasn't a way for you to make friends your age. You don't go to school, and you spend most of your day at headquarters where no one your age should be anyways.

He would definitely have friends other than you--if he even considers you a friend that is. You might be mistaking everything for friendship just because you've never made any friends.

"I wonder if any of the other members have friends outside of work? Other than Masahiro that is... he dates girls like every other week."

Deep in thought, you continue to stare at your phone when the screen turns on, snapping you out of your trance with a startle.

Picking it up, you accept the call and put the phone to your ear.

"Akira-san?" you greet.

"Oh, (y/n)!" she beams. "I was just wondering if you had any plans today, since we're free you know."

You rub the back of your neck before replying with a hint of dejection.

"Ah, well you see, I made plans with a friend-"

"Is it that boy that lent you the jacket last month?" Akira asks. You can practically see her smirk.

"Yes, but he's just showing me to a cafe... I was just thinking about it and," you pause, wondering if you should even be telling Akira about this.

"Anddd?"

"...and I don't think he sees me as a friend," you sigh.

"WHAT?!" she screams. Wincing, you pull the phone away from your ear until she finishes rambling in gibberish.

"(y/n), why do you think that?"

"Well, we don't really text much, and I realized that he's my only friend my age. He doesn't work at the agency, and he goes to school like a normal person. I... I don't know how people my age really interact," you blush as you confess.

There's a moment of silence before Akira finally speaks up.

"I think I can say this for the whole group, but I don't think most of us really ever meet people outside of work," she sighs. "I for one only get a chance to meet people by social media or dating sites, but it's always hard because they all leave when I don't tell them my occupation. They end up not trusting me."
