"And, we really love your baking," she added. Lisa smiled and looked down at Jennie's cute angry face,

"She really is talented," The model expressed, voice sounding so soft and tender that it had Jennie perking up and smiling appreciatively at Lisa. Her eyes glimmered and her grip around Lisa's waist eased up into something more gentle. Both eyes held a knowing glint from her comment.

"Right," Jisoo cleared her throat, catching Jennie and Lisa's attention. More like glares. It only humored the older one even more. "So, what's the occasion? You usually bake when something exciting just happened," Jisoo said, reaching over to dip her finger in the bowl. But, only whined the moment Chaeyoung swatted her hand away.

Baked whenever something exciting happened? Lisa moved in and Jennie baked...

Interesting.

Jennie sighed, letting go of Lisa to continue holding the bowl with one hand and stirring the batter with the other. Lisa almost frowned from the sudden emptiness that waved through her body. But then Jennie scooted closer till their arms were touching and Lisa felt way better.

"Well, if you must know," Jennie paused, feigning a look of sadness before smiling so wide till her eyes were squinted and her gums were showing, "Lisa and I are going to Thailand next week to film a commercial! She hired me to be her make up artist!" she squealed, dropping what ever she was holding and hopping while clapping excitedly.

"Really?" Chaeyoung squealed in return, mirroring Jennie's action adorably. Lisa wanted to laugh but then she caught Jisoo's stare. It wasn't a humored one, nor was it angry. It was filled with concern and that sight had her stiffening knowing all too well what it truly meant. Jisoo let out a quiet, long breath before forcing out a grin,

"That's great Jendukie, who else knows about this?" She asked carefully while taking quick glances towards Lisa's quiet, stilled figure. Lisa knows Jisoo didn't want to ask. Jisoo didn't,  but Lisa wanted to know, maybe as an reminder of reality. And Jisoo understood from the pleading look in Lisa's eyes.

"No one yet, just you girls," Jennie spoke excitedly and absentmindedly. Jisoo held Lisa's gaze when she asked the next question,

"When are you going to tell Teahyung?"

It grew quiet for a moment. Jennie froze for a heart beat while Chaeyoung and Lisa shifted in discomfort. The brunette shook her head and cleared her throat, eyes burning the bowl in front of her.

"I guess tomorrow? He did say he was coming over."

Boyfriend. Jennie has a boyfriend. Lisa needs to remember, the girl is taken.

So, Lisa took a tentative step away from Jennie, trying to uphold a calm feature that didn't scream annoyance or frustration. Why was it always so hard to get the girl?

She looked at Jennie and watched those feline eyes staring at her with a look she wished she understood.  But then, did Jennie understand the look she was sending, because her eyes screamed one thing while her features shouted confusion.

"Well, either way. This is super exciting. What's the commercial for?" Jisoo asked, breaking off the tense atmosphere that held Lisa captive. Jennie blinked and faced down to her bowl again, stirring slowly and less determined.

Lisa let out a puff of air and forced out a grin, "It's for AIS 5g," a short reply. "I'll be filming with an old friend of mine. Him and I go way back," she chuckled out. From the corner of Lisa's eye, Jennie subtly flinched for a second. She looked troubled and Lisa wondered why. But, before any of them could get a word out, Jennie cleared her throat,

"Ill be back. I need to use the restroom," she said, rushing away. Lisa's eyes followed her worriedly until the bathroom door closed and locked. And, at that same time, Chae immediately swatted Jisoo's arm,

"Why the heck did you ask about Taehyung?!" Jisoo whined, trying to block her hits,

"Lisa told me!"

"She didn't say a word!"

"She told me with her eyes babe! I'm practically psychic!!"

Lisa sighed dramatically and pinched the bridge of her nose, "Girls, please." They both silenced and faced Lisa, worried and very close to running around just to hold the sad girl. The model slowly brought her hand down and stared at the two with a soft smile,

"It's better to hear it now than later. I needed to hear it so I am reminded of my place."

Jisoo frowned, "Do you even know where you stand with Jennie?"

"I'm just her friend, right?" Lisa asked, head tilted slightly, trying to understand Jisoo's eyeroll and Chaeyoungs sigh.

"Remember when I told you to be patient?" The raven haired asked, which earned her tired groan,

"But for how long Jisoo? I don't how long I can stop myself from wanting her to be mine. She's just so perfect and I think I'm starting to...you know," her eyes shifted down while a blush crept into her own cheeks. And when she heard Chaeyoung's gasp, her blush darkened,

"You're in love with her, aren't you?" The blonde asked, and with Lisa's silence, the two began to squeal loudly. Lisa hissed with widened eyes,

"Keep it down!" The two giggled and covered their mouth. Lisa rolled her eyes, trying to fight her own grin. "Yes, i think I'm falling in love with her. But isn't it a bad thing?" She asked. Jisoo shook her head,

"Nope, remove those doubts. Whatever you've been doing is working. Jennie has never been jealous with anyone. Not even her own boyfriend, so, shouldn't that tell you something? Be patient with her and everything with fall into place closer than you think." Lisa's heart fluttered but there was one thing that still confused her.

"Why are you girls helping me anyways? Aren't you friends with Teahyung?" Chaeyoung grimaced,

"Sort of?" She sighed, "He's cool, but he can be pretty egotistic. Like, whenever Jennie would try to ramble about how happy she is with her job, Taehyung would try to one up her. It's like he's trying to assert his dominance and it's highly annoying."

"What's annoying?" Chaeyoung squealed and turned around, smiling so wide that it truly did look fake in all their eyes,

"Nothing." Jennie eyed her suspiciously before finding Lisa's smile. That smile seemed to  have softened every bone in Jennie's body because she suddenly looked less tense. Jennie slowly made her way in front of Lisa and took a hold of the silver haired beauty's hand,

"They're not bothering you, right?" She asked, ignoring the other two's protest. Lisa laughed and shook her head, squeezing Jennie's soft hand and smiling lovingly, adoring the tender gaze in Jennie's brown eyes. She could drown in those eyes forever.

"Never."

Jennie's smile and blush reminded Lisa that she needed to be patient. And that's what she will do. No matter what, she will try to win Jennie's heart. Why? Because, Lalisa Manoban was in love with Jennie Kim.
