"THERES BLOOD!" One officer said
On my god! This is all my fault I should've listened to becky.
They come out with my daughter, her clothes are torn she has blood coming from her mouth, and lucky just her mouth. They put her in the ambulance
"MY BABY!!" Becky cried
"Shhh, she's ok." I say to becky hugging her
"WE HAVE A PERSON !" Another officer says
They bring the person out dressed in all black, with ski masks on. I see all to familiar blonde curls. My mind started racing. Sophie, could that be Sophie
"WE GOT ANOTHER ONE!" The officer says
This time I could tell it was a male . I look at Becky and her face is as pale as a ghost.
"O-oh m-my god" she said shaking
The police take the mask off and Luke and Sophie it was. They were in handcuffs as Becky starting shouting and probably cursing in Gaelic. The only words I understood were 'why did you do this to her! You could have gone with me like you use to. Not my child! I swear if I see you again. I'm gonna kill you and sell you damn organs!!"
Damn! I said to myself let me not make her this mad EVER!
"Come here,I know baby."
"I got you." I say to her in a calm voice as I carefully pull her in for a hug.
I feel her nod on my shoulder.
"Parents,it's time to take her to the hospital. Who's riding?" The officer asks
"I am" Becky says
I look at her. "Stay calm for her, please. We don't need to freak her out even more ok." I say
"ok,thanks. Drive safe." She says back
I just simply nod as she gets inside the ambulance and leavs.
I walk to my car with my mind racing at 100 miles. Things would've been different if we didn't go. I'm such a bad friend,a bad father. Why did I even come back to them.
Rebecca's gonna hate me for this but instead of going straight to the hospital with them.. I have to go elsewhere to clear my mind. I haven't smoked or anything since I was a teenager,I had a really bad addiction. But,right now it's needed. I need to be a better person, maybe going back to old ways can help...Or not
