"When I was undercover in Germany, I discovered that my mission controller was compromised. Meaning that he was actually a double agent."
"I know what compromised means." I sigh.
"Yes, I know," says Daisy impatiently, "but he doesn't."
"I ask you what a truffle is ONE TIME." says Alexander, exasperated.
"Naturally, I trued to report him, but he found out. I managed to pull myself out of there, but had no where to go and no way to get there. Luckily, I found Alexander here," she jerks her head at him, "about two years ago,"
"That's why you stopped writing!" I exclaim.
"yes, yes," Daisy says, dismissively, "so we've been hiding."
"FOR TWO YEARS!" I shriek.
"Well...yes." mutters Daisy, "I thought that was obvious. Hazel, we need your help."
"Doing what?"
"You just said it, a minute ago. You work at Bletchley park, you could..."
"No." I cut her off.
"You don't even know what-"
"I'm not betraying the government, Daisy, I could be hanged. Especially since I'm Chinese."
"Watson please." Daisy looks at me, desperately, and i am not sure what to do.
