The brunette had been gone long before Alexander or Eliza could know she covered up whatever evidence she needed too and just left Alexander like that she felt guilty and horrible and just the same pang she felt in her chest everytime she left the Hamilton/Washington house and walked back to Thomas's house it was about 5am

when she left Madison and thomas both still being asleep she quickly got in the showering washing off whatever makeup and love scars she had on herself from tonight and from james she stepped out of the shower wrapping the towel around her body looking in the mirror she remembered how and when this started almost like it was yesterday the day she would regret ever having anything with Alexander

The brunette had dressed up getting ready to go to a bar for the first time in years she had been dating james since freshman year and she was a junior now the last few months of junior year before senior year then she could be free james was older he was a sophomore when they met but he had dropped down grades so he could be a junior with her so " no when can touch his girl"his words not hers but thankfully james had a job and was currently a few towns over at a job interview

Maria's parents always approved of james she didnt know why and she didnt wanna know she just knew she didnt wanna be with him for many reasons him cheating on her constantly and abusing her being the top 2 her parents didn't care much for her so when james casually offered to start letting maria stay with him and even move in with him while her parents went on "business trips " they agreed she sat at the bar getting in easily due to the amount of makeup she wore she looked exactly like her fake ID

A guy sat next to her and she looked towards him quickly looking away drinking her vodka/soda it was about her 4th one so she was surely feeling it "hey I'm Alexander you're maria right? I have you in biology he said and she turned to him nodding "um yeah that's that's me ha she answered nervously not knowing why he was talking to her well little did she know was that they would spend the rest of the night talking and dancing and even having sex

Maria didnt want to admit it but she was falling for him and hard she had explained how James had beated and mistreated her and he had walked her home from the bar his house not being that far from hers he lent her some emergency money in case she needed anything and she teased him playfully okay Mr big shot she said and he laughed before looking to her and stepping closer her heart racing out of her chest
