Chapter 13 "We did it we escape"

》Ray's POV《

We finally escape! "So whats next?" Don ask "we should find weapons" Emma said looking at don to gilda to me "Ray you have seen pictures of weapons right? And you have read those right?" Emma ask "Yes" i replied "How can we use them? And where should we find them?" I ask "Hmmn The weapons that i have read are Guns, Knives, Bats and other sharp weapons and we could find them in houses i think" i replied

"Great let's go" Emma said leading the way
We have come across an army of men. Don manage to steal some weapons. We go far north there i teach emma don gilda and the rest of the kids to use such dangerous weapons. But i mostly taught Emma how to shoot properly. My left ear now gone still kinda sting but i'll get use to it eventually.

We hide deep in the woods. The children were scared but there not afraid to die. "Ray come" gilda said holding my hand "alright" i said following her "So whats the plan next?" Don ask "Now since we know how to use this dangerous weapons. We should now find the promise neverland that William minerva said on those books me,norman and ray found it in the library" Emma said getting her bag. I'm surprise whats inside her bag.

"You had a map?" I ask "Mhm. When we were in the library i found a map in one of the books so i took it and hid it in my bed like under the sheets" Emma said with a courageous smile "impressive" don said clapping his hand "now gilda can you make sure if the children are already asleep?" Emma ask and gilda nodded. We stand up and walk out "Psstt don you should company her" i said pointing at gilda "sh-she's better of without me besides she's like the brave and smart one" don said with an 'obvious' blush on his face.

"Go on now don" emma said with a smirk "ughhhh fineee. Hey gilda wait up" he said running towards her. I sat down in front of emma "So?" I ask "There is a town up ahead" she replied pointing to north at the map "we should go there and gather some food and comfortable clothes" she said full of hope "Ray. I'll give this to you. I know your great at solving puzzles" she said handing me the pen sister krone use whenever she studies us one by one.

"How did you get this?" I ask "I just saw it on my desk. I guess Norman left it for me before he went of " she said with a smile. I took the pen from her hand and studied it "its like an ordinary pen to me" i said "Hmn just tell me if you figure some stuff in that pen. I'm going to see if don made a move to gilda" and as that she stands up and went back to where the group is. I sighed and follow her.

[Meanwhile with Don and gild]

"I wish i knew what Norman think about me as his young sister" gilda said setting up the tent "Well uhh he thought that your awesome" don said rubbing the back of his neck "He thought i was awesome? Norman?" She ask "Definitely!" He replied "How?" She ask "Well. He said there's nothing like your smile sort of subtle and perfect and real" he said holding her hand
"he said you never knew how wonderful that smile could make someone feel" he said with a smile

"And he knew whenever you get bored you help out all of the household chores. And he noticed that you still fill out the quizzes that mom put in those exam monitors. But he kept it all inside his head. What he saw he left unsaid. And though he wanted to he couldn't talk to you. he couldnt find the way. But he would always say" he said letting her hand go

"If i could tell her tell her everything I see

"Did norman say anything else?" She ask
"About you?" He ask "Never mind, I don't really care anyways--" before she could continue don cuts her off "No, no, no just, no, no he said, he said so many things
I'm just, I'm trying to remember the best ones so, um" he scratch the back of his neck
"He thought you looked really pretty, er-
It looked pretty cool when you attach the sheets to make a rope" he said "He did?" Gilda ask and don nodded

"And he wondered how you learned to sing
Like all the rest of the world isn't there. But he kept it all inside his head what he saw he left unsaid. If I could tell her tell her everything I see. If I could tell her" he looks at gilda and gilda looked away

"But what do you do when there's this great divide?" Don ask "He just seemed so far away" Gilda replied "And what do you do when the distance is too wide?" He ask "It's like I don't know anything" gilda replied. Don steps a little closer holding gilda's hand. "And how do you say" he cups gilda's face making her face him.

He looks into gilda's eyes and let out a sigh
"But we're a million worlds apart and I don't know how I would even start. If I could tell her. If I could" Gilda hugged don while her tears flows down. Me and Emma were shock and look a little bit confused "Was that a confession?" Emma ask "Maybe? I don't know. I never know Don feels that way to gilda" i replied "huh same." Emma said "She's like too oblivious to know" i added "Ray where all oblivious" Emma pointed out "Oh rightt"

well this was a successful day

[Note]: so starting on this chapter you'll notice some parts that aren't in the anime nor the manga. Well that because staring in this chapter it'll be 'Fanfic' stuff so if your still interesred on whats going to happen please wait for another day and if your not interested now :') its ok it didn't hurt my soul at all
