Prince of Horses change (41)

Start from the beginning

"I don't know enough Japanese and you probably don't understand me but I know you did that on purpose! You naughty boy!"

Aizawa turned his head and looked at the girl. She was probably about eighteen. Celeste was neither poor nor rich as her father was a blacksmith. The girl would make an acceptable wife for some man. The young samurai began to think of his would have been bride, Cho. Ahh, the tragedy to be a samurai sometimes but Aizawa Shota would not trade being a samurai for any other life in the world.

"Celeste bring the stallion over here. Time to replace those shoes on him," her Papa called to her.

The daughter pulled Shota's head up with only a little bit of pull so he decided not to be an 'asshole' and pulled his head down again. The once samurai, walked beside the little Mausu and stopped by the anvil.

Celeste had worn brown pants with a green peasant shirt. Then an apron over the top so it gave the look she had a skirt on. She had to keep up a girly appearance but a skirt was deadly for some of the things she did for her Papa.

The girl dug into her pants pocket and put something in her mouth to eat. Shota turned his head and looked at the girl. Then a sweet smell came from her breath.

Licorice?!

Now Aizawa wasn't a sweets man but as a horse the smell was intense and it was human food a horse could eat. Maybe he could try and get a piece of whatever she had in her pocket?

Shota the human then became puzzled. How do I communicate I want a piece too?

So the stallion pushed her with his nose but knocked her over with his strength. Then he tried to use his mouth but at the last minute realized he would hurt her with a powerful bite.

Celeste rubbed Shota's forehead, "You want a piece don't you? You have to be a good boy and let my dad shoe you. Then I will give you a couple as I groom you."

Little mouse stroked Shota's face. Her fingers gently rubbed the now healed scar under his right eye. "You got lucky Aizawa Shota. You nearly lost that big beautiful obsidian colored eye of yours."

Celeste scratched his neck then looked to see if her papa was looking. She slipped the licorice biscuit flat in her hand and put it to his soft furry lips. Shota looked confused then did his best to take the treat without nipping. The young woman used her body to hide the stallion eating the treat.

Little Mausu whispered in Shota's ear. "I don't care about your scars! You will always be my Akihiko to take of..."

Aizawa stood licking and pondered Celeste's recent words. Strange girl, she didn't know a thing about him as a human but she acted like a love struck princess. Aizawa rolled his dark onyx eyes and decided that it was acceptable circumstances.

That was up to and until the farrier started picking feet up. The front feet weren't too bad but when Blacksmith Ferra went to his off hind (right hind going to make that scar on the elbow on human Aizawa) Shota fired out his back leg to kick. Celeste's Papa was not as patient as his daughter.

"Stand up you and knock that off!" he bellowed.

Shota did his best possible scowl a horse can do which is worried eyes that roll and their bottom lip pulled up tight. "Papa, that leg has a scar on the hock. I will tie him up and then stand on his opposite side to give him something to lean on. Maybe make the stallion feel safer?"

"Alright but you be careful. He's a stallion and he could hurt you pretty bad."

Little Mausu ran her hand along Shota's back then placed the point of her shoulder into the fleshy part of his pelvis. This time the blacksmith lifted Aizawa's hind leg and Shota felt secure. Celeste was acting as his forth leg, a sort of brace. Aizawa in turn, was not an asshole like some horses and leaned on the girl gently.

' What a clever little Mausu.' he thought.

Aizawa Shota, once a samurai and now black stallion to a Portugeuse Captain, began to relax. His eyes grew heavy in the sunshine and he dozed. You see horses have a locking mechanism in their legs so they can stay standing asleep. Shota could faintly hear the blacksmith pounding the shoe in shape and Celeste scratched different spots on his body that he couldn't reach.

Then it happened. The worst thing possible. Shota, former male human now male horse, remembered how his 'little butterfly', Cho looked in a secret pond with cherry blossoms in her wet hair. So nature took over and well horse's have big penises.

A loud smack was heard and Shota jolted to full attention to realize his abdomen stung. "Put that thing away!" growled Blacksmith Ferra. "Damn stallions! That's why I don't like him being a stallion around my girl. They're just dangerous."

"Oh Ferra! Improper gelded horses get hard ons around women when they cycle. It's just nature. Relax..."

"Celeste gets hurt because of this stupid stallion, from that damn country you trade with and what will I have?!"

"I tell you what Ferra, I'll pay what Celeste is worth for a lifetime of work if she gets injured. Sound fair?"

"Shake?" her father said. And the two men shook.

Shota looked at the two men and then little Mausu. The samurai was glad no one could see how badly embarrassed he was. How much he hated not being able to control or hide the simplest of body functions. It also showed how much value Celeste was worth to her father too. And if Aizawa could guess it, it wasn't much, not even a father's love.

Hmm, he could stop being such an asshole for her. The others probably not. They deserved it. Besides, she was just a little Mausu with those delicious smelling and tasting licorice treats. Negotiations could be done...

✓Licorice has a long history that dates back thousands of years. Evidence of the plant has been found in ancient Egyptian, Chinese, Greek, Roman, and Hindu civilizations, and many prominent historical figures are said to have utilized licorice for its medicinal properties, including King Tut, Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, and Napoleon Bonaparte - who consumed it so often, it is said his teeth turned black from the juices!

Its usage has also evolved over the years. From the licorice juice ancient people mixed into drinks as medicine, to the licorice flavor extract 13th century Europeans used to sweeten cakes and breads, to the wide array of shapes and flavors the term has come to represent, licorice has a long and varied set of uses, and occupies a big space in the canon of food history.
