Enough Time

Shouta Aizawa stood in the cold, pouring rain but the temperature didn't register to him. He wasn't Eraserhead. He wasn't an underground hero. He wasn't an UA homeroom teacher class 1-A. He was just a lone man.

His mind was on other things...memories...wishes...broken promises...dreams...and regret.

Broken promises and regret were the worst he felt in his heart . How time is infinite but life is fragile and finite. How the time lost can never be regained. How the future is uncertain and that all it can change in a blink of a proverbial eye.
~time skip one year ago~

"Sho, do you know what time it is?" Yuriko (Lily child) asks in an exhausted tone.

"It's late." Shouta said with slight irritation. 'Mid-term grades need to be done."

Yuriko sighs and walks over to her boyfriend of almost three years, wrapping her arms around his neck and placing a kiss on his lips.

"My beautiful lily, love you too. I will be in bed in a half hour."

Morning comes all too soon and Yuriko finds her teacher boyfriend asleep at his desk. She smiles and puts a blanket around him. Shouta wakes to the smells of a traditional breakfast and the aroma of coffee coming from the kitchen. The underground hero tiredly walks to the kitchen and wraps his arms around his girlfriend.

"Morning Yuriko" giving her a kiss "I don't know what I would do without you."

"Sho...you're being silly. I love you too. Are you patrolling tonight?"

"Yeah...fraid so, and you?" Shouta asks.

"I am on rescue for a twelve hour shift the next two days after my UA class." she says.

Yuriko has the hero name Domino. She has two quirks that were total opposites, ultimate healing and death touch. The woman was supporting rescue to help save the injured from villains but also works at UA Omega Division (not Omegaverse related), teaching students how to control their dangerous quirks. Omega division is trained exclusively to contain powerful villains so they take the fast track through UA versus hero courses.

"Be safe Yuriko and maybe I can 'swing' by on a break patrolling." Aizawa replies then gives her another kiss as he releases her from his arms.

"You too Sho..."

~Time Skip Midnight~

Somehow the day flew by and it was midnight when he finally took a break. Aziawa noticed he had over a dozen texts and two calls. He loved his 'lily' but she worried too much about him. The amount of sent texts with silly gifs was annoying to him. She didn't understand that he didn't really care for that ' 'stuff''. He even told her so but she insisted it was a way for her to say she loved him in another way like cooking a good meal for him.

Eraser finally gets back to UA class dorms and finds a note saying that his dinner is in the fridge and his papers are graded. He only needs to enter them in the computer. The underground hero wonders how he managed to have found such a loving woman. Yuriko always makes time for him at a moment's notice.

As he eats his dinner, his mind thinks about their relationship. Though he doesn't show it, he is happy to have her in his life. They have been together almost three years so Shouta makes his mind up right then and there, he will propose to her on Friday. He wants to be married on their third year anniversary, as a couple.

Eraser decided they would go to dinner at her favorite restaurant and rent a room for the weekend, to have private couple time. They rarely did anymore, as the teachers now living at the UA High School dorms.
