Poor, rich, small or tall
Aren't we all the same?
Or are we some other creatures, not worthy of a name?
People treat me like an animal, and I tell them to stop
But obviously they won't listen, because to them I'm a mop
They drag me, they hurt me, they scrub me, they hit me
Does anyone come to the rescue?
No.
Does anyone care?
No.
Does anyone see I'm a human just like them?
No.
Does anyone consider my feelings?
No...
Well isn't that just sad?
It doesn't matter about my feelings though, since I'm the victim of someone mad
I just want everyone to take a deep breath and listen!!

I'm not someone of the same religion!
I'm a human!

I don't have the same problems!

Let me speak!
Stop hitting me!
Go away!
Don't come after me when I run away!
Because obviously my feelings don't matter to you!
To you, I'm just a toy that you can only use!
Stop pulling my hair!
You're making me cry, I'm in deep despair!
You broke me!
No one can fix me!
You shattered me!
To almost a million pieces where no one can find me!
I'm just a girl!
I'm just a boy!
Does my gender really matter?
No, it doesn't, because she's going through the same thing as me, and that just made my tongue feel bitter!
I'm the same as you!
She's the same as me!
We're all human and that's who we'll ever be!
You need to stop!
You can't use me like someone who can't drop!
I won't stand down now!
Because I've had enough!
I don't need to show my bruises to have you notice how hurt I am!
Whether I have a broken shoulder, whether I have a broken leg, it won't matter
Since the only part, that truely broke me, was my heart...
A/N: Hey everyone! I hope you like this poem as much as I did while writing it! This topic, to me is a very touchy one, I feel so upset when I see or hear people going through such hard and difficult things in their life and when I look back, I start to feel ashamed of myself because compared to them, I have such a blessed life. I know this poem is a long one, and that's because there is SO much to say to this! I hope we can all try to have a better life by changing other people's lives for the better! Lets all try to help anyone who is in need, it can be from sharing a smile to helping a person to carry their bags to donating or giving orphans shelter.
