LONE PATH

Lonely I have walked
On this rocky path
Life they have called

Barefoot and underdressed
I have surpassed
Every expectation

By living every moment
Of my life without discrimination
Happiness and sadness alike

Without "tall friends"
I have climbed the success tree
And had a fruit devouring spree

Those who laughed
As on the bitter roots I chewed
Are now ashamed
I survived the storm of hard work!

I sailed in a rocky boat
Bitterness in my heart
Against none
Other than life's strong currents

From a barren background
Humble they have called
Firmly I stood my ground
To bid poverty good bye

No ,am not an omega
But an alpha of my lone pack
In short, I've got my back

Don't judge,
Am not a loner by choice
Can the voice
Of a peasant be heard in a herd of the rich?

I accepted my loneliness
And now to greatness,
I continue to rise
Until my demise!
