treason
You wage wars in the depths of my heart,
One kiss and at your feet I fall apart.
Seizing every corner and every arch,
Like spring to winter at the start of March.
A thief in the night but the doors ajar,
You've left me with nothing but a deep scar.
I am attentive of my dealings with you,
Scared that I'll break something so new.
You're like land that's gone undiscovered,
Let me be the only one who uncovers.
You're filled with all these delightful wonders,
I used to see monochrome but now I see colours.
I know the sentence for this crime,
But, God, I'm ready to do my time.
I'll gladly go down like sunken ships,
Because you've got treason on your lips.// R. M
