"Coffee?"

Tumango naman ako agad at agad na umupo sa counter sa kusina kung saan nagtitimpla si Pay. Kakadating ko lang galing sa Rizal, hindi na kami nakapagbreakfast since may aasikasuhin pa daw si Trevor, mukhang abala siya sa chics niya jonks.

"Here," sabi ni Pay at inabot sa akin ang coffee na tinimpla niya. Sumnadal siya sa counter na inuupuan ko habang hinihipan ang kape niya.

"Hindi ka aalis?" tanong ko sa kanya.

He shook his head and took a sip in his coffee, "It's my free day today," he reasoned out and gazed at me, "How 'bout you?"

I shook my head, "I'll be staying, I guess" I answered. "Um, depende pala kung walang mangyaya gumala," natatawang sabi ko pa.

"You okay?" he asked out of nowhere. "You look a lot more happier these past few days, ano meron?" panchichismis niya.

I smiled, "I met lots of new friends," sabi ko naman.

He nodded, "That's great," he exclaimed, "Surround yourself with people who radiates positive vibes," sabi niya pa. I tapped his shoulder and gave him a thumbs-up.

"Opo, Doc" nakangiting sabi ko. He just chuckled. He invited me na pumunta sa sala.

"Tara, let's play Bomb Squad" yaya niya sa akin.

I chuckled, "Really? 1 on 1?" natatawang tanong ko. He's not into mobile games kaya I don't expect him to challenge me. Pinagbigyan ko siya, kahit alam kong masasaktan ko lang ang damdamin niya dahil matatalo ko lang naman siya.

"Red or Blue?" he asked me.

I pouted while thinking which color I'd choose, "I'll go with blue nalang,"

Tumango si Pay, he chose red. "Anong bet?" mayabang na tanong niya.

"500," I immediately responded.

"500 lang?" he asked, "Are you playing safe?" natatawang tanong niya. "Make it 2k," he suggested. Hindi ako takot na matalo sa kanya because for sure I'll win naman, hindi ko lang alam kung saan humuhugot nang kayabangan ngayon ang kapatid ko.

"What the fvck?!" agad na reklamo ko nang matapos ang laro namin ni Pay, he was grinning while staring at me. "You cheated didn't you?"

He laughed, "Accept your failure," natatawang sabi niya naman. I rolled my eyes and hit him with a throwpillow.

"And where can I get 2k?" inis na sabi ko. "Sabi ko na kasi 500 lang 'e," sabi ko pa at nagpout.

"C'mon, you have more than 10 credit cards" agad namang sabi niya at tumayo. "2k," sabi niya pa.

"Buraot!" sigaw ko at agad na binato ang throwpillow sa kanya. He just chuckled and went outside. Tangina, where will I get 2k?

Maya maya pa ay napalingon ako nang marinig ang mga tahol nina Credit at Debit. My mood changed immediately when I saw them. They ran towards me so I quickly hugged the both of them. Credit is a white colored chowchow while Debit is a husky.

"Aw, I missed you too," I responded while hugging them. "You miss ate 'no?" I asked. I looked at Pay who was staring at me. "What?" I asked him.

"Nothing," nakangising answer niya.

"You look stupid," sabi ko naman at agad na binalik ang attention ko kina Credit at Debit. "Debit, you're not eating well 'no? You look so payat na," sabi ko pa. "And you, Credit. I think you have to get some grooming you're hair is so mahaba na" sabi ko pa habang I'm patting his fur.
