The clouds are forming up above,
Friends start texting, sending their love.Everything so still and eerie,
Trying our best to not get tear-y.Everything dark, than it's orange and yellow,
If it weren't for the danger it would seem so mellow.Even the cats don't know what to do,
As we take pictures of every room.We keep waiting-for something not to happen,
Hoping the police won't come tapp'in.Pray for those families in the line of fire,
Pray for the firefighters who never tire. The smoke is still thick,
The only sound is the clock-tic toc tic.Oh where have the blue skies gone,
Without the sun the world feels so wrong.
