Mika blinked. "You do?" She asked. It sounded almost too good to be true. "Mika, ever since I laid eyes on you, I knew you had to be the one. I mean, it's not every day you stumble upon someone who understands you and just so happens to be the same species as you." Mao Mao told her. "And also happened to be in need of assistance." He teased.
"Hey!" Mika said, pushing his shoulder a little. "For the record, I wasn't in need of assistance. I just let you help me because.. because I wanted to see if you guys were worthy."
"Worthy, huh?" Mao Mao said, raising an eyebrow. Mika nodded, an amused glint in her eyes. "Well, is this worthy enough for you?" Mao Mao asked, leaning forward and kissing her. Mika closed her eyes happily and gave in to the kiss.
She felt like her life finally had a meaning again. And she knew, that no matter what happened... Mao Mao would be there through it all.
