Chapter 1

Lauren's POV
I was on my phone scrolling through Instagram and occasionally liking some posts.

I heard the door burst open which caused me to sit up.

I turned around and saw my frantic twin.

"Shit, shit, shit." She muttered under her breath.

"What's wro-" I said, but she cut me off.

"Uh, Lauren! You're here! That's great. I- uh, I need you to go on that date as me." She said.

"Another date? Jeez, you and your girlfriend go out a lot." I said.

"Yeah, well, that's kinda what you do when you're dating someone, not like you'll ever know since you're single." She said.

I rolled my eyes at Michelle's comment.

"Oh yeah? Then why did you even plan these dates if you're always busy? Why did you even date someone when you're not even actually going on dates with them?!" I said, slightly yelling the last part.

"Relax, you're acting as if you actually care about Camila..." She said.

I felt myself pale a little but I quickly shook it off.

"You don't care about her, right?" She asked, turning to me.

"What? No, of course not! It's just that I feel like everyone deserves a relationship where both of the people are committed-" I said, but she cut me off.

"But I am committed!" She yelled.

"Not really. You don't even go on dates with her." I said.

"But I plan them!" She said.

"Yeah, but that's not enough! I also feel like when you're in a relationship both of the people should be on their date! Not their twin!" I yelled.

"It's almost as if I'm dating her!" I yelled, accidentally letting that statement slip out of my mouth.

Michelle looked at me and scoffed.

"As if Camila would like someone like you. She'd never even date you. Let alone look in your way if it weren't for me!" She yelled.

I stayed silent at that statement.

"You see! Even you know I'm right." She said, smirking.

"Whatever, I didn't stay here just to fight." I said.

"Well, we wouldn't have been fighting if it weren't for you saying you and Camila are dating." She said.

"But-" I said, but she cut me off.

"You should learn when to stay in your lane and when to leave your lane. Most of the time you should stay in there." She said.

"Whatever." I said.

"Anyways, Camila and I's date is in an hour so you better be ready then." She said.

More like my date with Camila... I don't get why she still calls it her and Camila's date when she doesn't even go on dates with her!

"Hello? Did you hear what I said?!" She yelled.

"Yeah, yeah, the date starts in an hour." I said.

She smiled then said. "Great, you got something right for once."

I ignored her and went to take a shower.

After the shower...

Once I was done showering and changing, I put on my usual perfume and grabbed my car keys and left.

Before I drove to Camila's house I texted her.

Me: I'm omw

She replied soon after.

Camila: i'll be waiting
