Chapter 33 ‹Moving in›

Moving in day. Kyo was helping me move boxes into the car my mum owns. "Thank you so much for the help Kyo. Don't know if us two girls could have done this on our own." Mum pat Kyo's shoulder after he put another box into the car.

" It's fine. Didn't have much else to do today." Kyo walked back up the stairs to my apartment as I was moving boxes around in the back seat. I didn't realize how much stuff I owned.

"He's so strong and handsome. You choose well." Blushing at her comment mum hugged me from behind. "Not to mention how kind he is and supportive." It was like shes swooning over him. I tried moving out of her grip making mum smile.

"Mum stop it please." She laughed standing back grinning to herself. "We're almost done," I said watching as Kyo was walking back with the last box

 " I'll just double-check everything."

Walking around the small apartment it was all empty apart from my backpack, the bathroom was empty as well as the kitchen and small bedroom.

"(Y/n) your mum is in the car. Do you have everything?" Standing up I nodded.

"I think so. Although the landlady will tell me if I leave anything." Kyo nodded going to turn around but I grabbed his hand kissing him. "Thank you for helping today." Kyo smiled kissing me once more before we shut the door behind us.

"Couldn't let you do this alone." The two of us walked back holding hands to the car.

I was trying to write a new song. It was coming along so much faster than the last one. Empty boxes were around my room, Kyo was lying across the ground with his eyes shut. Mum was making dinner and told Kyo he couldn't leave until she cooked a thank-you dinner. He was fine with it of course.

"Hey Kyo what about...." I turned and realized he was asleep. Giggling to myself I bent down kissing his forehead, only when I went to move up Kyo wrapped me in a hug.There was a soft thud when I hit the floor on my shoudler.

"What were you saying?" He husked in my ear and I just moved some of his hair away from his eyes. He was asleep, must have woken him up.

"Nothing it doesn't matter." Snuggling into Kyo I shut my eyes. We were lying there for a few minutes.

"You're beautiful." His lips touched mine. Humming shortly in surprise. Kyo brought me closer to him kissing me deeper.

"Kyo my mum is in the next room," I whispered and he kissed me once more. There was a knock on the door.

"Dinners ready...." The door opened and she smiled when seeing us on the floor. "Come on love birds." Kyo and I sat up and mum laughed walking away.

"Do I have to sit through dinner?" Kyo whined and I rolled my eyes at him. He can't back out now finding out how nosy mum can be.

"Yes, and I did say she was in the other room." I walked out seeing the table was all set. Bowls of rice with meat and vegetables cooked in the centre. Kyo followed after me.

"Now Kyo tell me about yourself. (Y/n) here gets all flustered whenever we talk about you." Kyo gave me a look. A smirk really so I looked away.

"I don't know what to say...." Mum smiled warmly.

"Any hobbies?"

"Karate." 

"Oh, martial arts. I'm glad you know how to defend yourself. (Y/n) here loves to get into trouble." I gasped at mum."Mum please." She giggled waving me off.

"Now now I'm trying to get to know this mystery boyfriend of yours." Question after question was answered. All throughout the dinner. Stories were told about me that I never wanted mentioned again and nothing I said could stop mum from doing so. "It was lovely having you over Kyo. You're welcome to come over whenever you want." Mum walked back into the house leaving Kyo and I to stand alone out front.

"Sorry about her. Mum can get over-excited some times." Kyo had both hands in his pockets looking to the ground in front of him.

"It's alright. I got to know about some embarrassing stories of you." I gasped lightly punching his shoulder making Kyo laugh. We were walking further out the front before Kyo would leave.

"I wish you didn't hear that." Kyo smiled leaning towards me kissing my forehead.

"I'm glad you're both happy here." Mum was so alone for so long. Pretending like everything was fine. But pretending is only hiding the truth even though it might be painful to go through.

"Thank you, Kyo." Kissing his cheek Kyo left for the night. Mum was in the kitchen when I walked back inside.

"You know I think we need to have a talk about the birds and the bees again." 

"MUM!"
