Takes place just after the first half of the 2019 remaste...
I was heading over for dinner at Tohru's. I had to leave school a little late because I was on cleaning and I dropped home to change into something comfier. It wasn't too out of the way and Tohru hadn't even started on dinner.

"Oh, Kyo went with Kagura to get the food." I hadn't heard that name before Tohru mentioned she was apart of the Zodiac but nothing more.
"Hello (y/n) I didn't know you were coming for dinner." Shigure smiled walking into the room.
"I had to stay late at school before coming here ." He nodded coming to sit down on the other side of the table.
"I got a good look at the sunset, it looks quite lovely tonight."
"I might go have a look." I hummed outstanding up once again and going up the stairs and to the roof to see the beautiful coloured sky. My phone rang and it was Hinata. "Hey, Hinata." I breathed still looking out.
'I just wrote a draft for a new song.' She sang out sounding at if she was smiling widely.
"Oh, that's good," I said.
'And I just sent it through to you. Along with a piano recording.' My phone buzzed while against my ear and I glanced to see that it came through. 'Did you get it?' Hinata asked.
"Yeah."
'Could you test it out and let me know how it sounds? Miki used to do that for me from time to time.' I sighed out looking through the music sheet.
"Now or....."
'Could you try now, then I can adjust it tonight. I'll call you back in ten.' Then she hung up. Well then. I opened the mp3 file then went back to the music sheet where the lyrics were.
It was a beautiful song. I heard clapping.
"Huh?" I looked down seeing Tohru clapping along with Shigure who happened to be crying. Kyo and the girl Tohru mentioned was also there while Yuki stood next to Shigure holding some vegetables. "You weren't meant to hear that." I stood quickly coursing me to slip and fall onto my butt. "Ah." I yelped.
"A rival!" I heard a shout and I opened an eye to see the girl charging up to the roof. I leant backwards to avoid getting kicked to the face.
"What are you talking about?" I said stepping backwards only to fall off the edge of the roof but I grabbed onto the gutter, I hissed a little feeling a cut on my palm as I did so.
"I saw the way Kyo was looking at you." I blushed but my eyes went wide when seeing her stomp over towards me. Using both legs to kick off the side of the roof I landed on the railing on the lower level.
"Alright, you two just calm down, Kagura why don't you help Tohru cook dinner." I wasn't the one to start the fight nor did I fight back. Kagura huffed but listened and went back down going with Tohru to the kitchen.
"What was with her?" I asked not moving from my stop on the railing.
"Kagura expresses her emotions through violence. She is in love with Kyo here." My eyes went wide as Shigure spoke.
"Right." My eyes drifted to Kyo who had a look in his eye. Was that what Kagura was talking about?
"Well, I'll stay near the kitchen to make sure nothing more is broken." Shigure sighed walking off, Yuki followed suit, most likely to give the vegetables to the girls. Kyo looked up at me for a moment more before going back into the house. I gazed down to my right palm, it was bleeding. The cut wasn't too deep but I should clean it up or it could get infected. Spinning around to find the medkit Kyo was by the door with it.
"I noticed you hurt your hand from the fall." I went to grab it but Kyo stopped me. " I've got it. You're not the only one who's needed to patch themselves up." I gazed into his eyes before he looked down. We both sat on the floor as he started disinfecting the cut.
"Ouch." I hissed flinching slightly.
"This will hurt less if you stay still." Nodding I didn't move after that.
"So Kagura's in love with you." I breathed watching as he got out the bandages.
"Yeah, I never asked for her too." I giggle at the response. "What's got you laughing?"
"You can't force someone to love another person. It's an emotion only you can control in here." I pointed to Kyo's heart just being able to touch his chest. I could hear his breath hitch and when seeing what was wrong Kyo's face was right near mine. "S-sorry." I breathed leaning away with a full red face along with Kyo.
" Just don't go hurting yourself anymore alright." I nodded and Kyo stood picking up the first aid kit. "You should join the band."
"Huh?" I was confused about where this came from.
"You're an amazing singer you should let others hear it." I blushed again and watched as Kyo left to put the medkit away. I looked to my hurt hand and held it to my chest with a small smile on my face.

"Dinner is served." Tohru cheered coming into the room with Kagura. I was smiling until I was the look on Kagura's face when she saw me sitting next to Kyo.
"That's my seat." She said and we all looked to her. "Right there is where I sit." I blinked.
"Kagura calm down you can sit next to me and." I sighed standing up grabbing my jacket. "(y/n) what are you....?" Tohru was shocked.
"It's fine, I'll just go home, you can have my seat. Enjoy your meal everyone." I don't want to course a dramatic scene.
"(y/n) wait.." I shut the door to the outer side of the house going to get my shoes.
"You're a real piece of work you know that." It was Kyo, he was shouting. Maybe I shouldn't have left. Too late now. Tying up my shoes I stepped out of the house before someone came to get me.
"(Y/N)." Kyo had followed me down, I was halfway down the mountain tearing up a little when he came down. He stopped for a moment. "Why are you crying?" I wiped my face.
"I just haven't been given a look like that in a while." Kyo grabbed my wrist starting to drag me back up the mountain. "What are you doing?"
"what does it look like we're going back to eat something." I pulled away from him.
"Kagura wants to spend time with you without me so...."
"Kyo!" Kagura. She's chasing after him. Kyo must have stormed out. I should just. Kyo grabbed me pulling me into the forest before Kagura saw us. My eyes went wide as he covered my mouth leaning into my against a tree. "How far did he go?" She continued down the stairs going right past us.
"Let's go," Kyo said taking me into the forest.
"Where are we going?" I asked looking back to the staircase before it wasn't in sight.
"Since you won't go back to the house. Dinner, we'll find someplace to eat."
