The weather was so strange recently. two days after staying with Tohru and the weather has gotten hot again. I was lying on the floor in the living room eating some strawberries when Arisa and Saki basically burst into the house.

"We're all chipping in to by a new swimsuit for Tohru," Arisa said crossing her arms.

"Oh, I've been thinking of getting a new one myself." I smiled sitting up from the floor.

"Of course you need a new one (Y/N) you didn't even come with us to the pool yesterday." I laughed a little.

"Why does it have to be a swimsuit?" I glanced over to Kyo who was blushing deeply.

"I'll just get changed." I breathed standing up.

I was looking around the swimsuit store for something to buy when Arisa walked up to me.

"Hey, I heard Kyon-Kyon is meant to be your true love." I gasped in response wondering how she found out. "So I grabbed him for you." She was holding him like a rag doll. sweatdropped.

"Hey let go of me!" He shouted before being tossed over to me.

"Have fun you two, we'll be out front helping Tohru." I waved her goodbye and Kyo stood there looking to the ground.

"You don't have to help me pick." I breathed seeing him look so uncomfortable. Should I pick a sporty swimsuit so I can run around? Or a cute one? Hold up four of them I pouted.

"(Y/N) try this one on!" Arisa shouted throwing the bathers onto Kyo's head. He froze on the spot and I giggled pulling it off him. It's cute.

 It's cute

I ended buying quite a lot of stuff. I need summer clothes and since I could wear dresses and skirts now it was so much more fun. We all stopped at Soba on the way how and Arisa told us about her relationship with Tohru's mum. It was an amazing story. We were about to head out when three middle-schoolers came up to us.

"Hey, Ou-tani we've got business with you. meet us outside alone."

"Weren't those noodles good." We all agreed standing up. I grabbed my five bags and we went outside.

"Where do you think you're going!"

We ignored them as we walked along while they continued to pick a fight with Ou-chan.

"Are you sure you don't know them. They're calling you out by name." I sighed glancing back to see they looked pissed, almost too pissed for someone they'd never met before.

"I'll take care of it," Saki said and I sweatdropped. I don't think that could end well.

"You shouldn't be carrying all those bags yourself."

"Huh?" Kyo grabbed three of the bags huffing slightly. "Thanks." I smiled noticing one of the girls about to take a punch at Arisa. Dropping the bags I grabbed the girls fist and twisted her arm around pushing her back towards her friends. "Don't go picking fights with people thinking you'll get a reputation."

"(Y/n) calm down I can handle this." I blinked turning around.

"Oh sorry." I stepped aside picking up my bags.

"Nice reflexes I'm surprised," Kyo spoke standing up. I frowned at him.

"But I told you I know martial arts."

"Yeah, but I didn't think you'd be any good at it." I pouted at him.

"That's no way to talk to miss (l/n). Stupid cat." And they were fighting again. Weakly smiling at them as they bickered away I walked alongside Tohru for the rest of the way home.

I was leaning against the railing outside texting mum about my week. She called it her weekly update on my life. I heard the sliding door opened and I shut my phone.

"Oh hi, Kyo." I smiled before turning back to look ahead.

"I didn't mean you were weak."

"Huh?" Turning to look at Kyo's face he was glancing between both me and the floor below us.

"When I said I was surprised about your martial art skills today. I just meant that... You don't look to be the type of person to know that sort of thing." He always has trouble explaining himself. It's cute. Kyo blushed rubbing the back of his neck.

"I'm really not. All I ever wanted to do was wear dresses and hang out with my friends but once my stepdad came around I was locked up in our house apart from school." It went quiet for a moment as we both watched the lights of the city.

"I like both sides of you." My eyes went wide as I looked over to him. "I'm glad you can protect yourself." Not knowing what to say I blushed.

"Thank you," I spoke moving closer to kiss his cheek. Kyos face went completely red and I giggled.

"I-i'm going to have a bath." He zoomed away from me and I smiled opening up my phone again to finish the text I was sending.
Wait... What did I just do?!? I kissed his cheek. Why would I do that?! My phone buzzed and I juggled it in my hands managing to grab it before it fell one story high.

"(Y/n) deary would you be able to work tomorrow after school. I know it's sudden but the girl on has come down with a cold."

"That should be fine. I'll be over right after school finishes."
