Letting out a short yawn as I was walking down the stairs from getting changed I let out a hum as I heard the front door shut. Who was here? I thought everyone was out.
"Hey, Tohru who was at the door?" My question led to her jumping out of her skin not seeing me coming. A bunch of sheets in a basket fell to the floor.
"(Y/n) you scared me." She breathed out and I smiled helping her pick up the sheets. "Shigure was here to get Kyo. To meet with Akito. Isn't this great, they all might have a meal together." She was smiling so brightly, but I wasn't so sure this was something to be smiling about. I heard that Akito has a way to bend peoples emotions.
"And he didn't even say goodbye." I breathed out folding the last sheet not seeing Tohru's smile falter.
"He shouldn't be too long. I'm sure they'll be all back for dinner." I agreed so she didn't get worried. "But while we wait we can work on that song together." Tohru rushed off to put a few things away while I went back upstairs to grab my things, the moment I opened the bedroom door Tohru was there smiling and grabbed my hand. "Come on I know we can get it done today!" The motivation on this girl. The brightness of her smile made me do the same.
Tohru took us to her balcony where cold lemonade was waiting. It is quite calming out here. You can hear and smell the ocean which made me stare out to the sea that was just visible through the trees. I gave Tohru a moment to hear the instrumental part of the song.
"So how much have you written?" She asked, biting my inner cheek I turned and slid over the notebook I'd been writing in.
"I'm thinking of having the song about my trauma. From my stepdad. The way it made me act in a way that wasn't myself. Although I've found it hard to express in words... Which is why there's not a lot."
"But I saw you writing down so much." She was starting to freak out. " I thought it was going to be a rap. We're going to need something to energise our minds!" She stood sprinting down to grab something full of sugar I guessed. Tohru's all about helping people more than ever.

It was getting later, it was almost the time where everyone would start coming back from the other house but no one was here yet.
"I might get started on dinner." Tohru declared standing up from the couches.
"Is it alright if I go for a short run? My legs are getting restless."
"Yeah that's fine, maybe you'll bump into Kyo on your run. Although I was hoping they'd all stay there for longer." Tilting my head with a smile I left the room changing into my shorts and a t-shirt before heading out. I just hope nothing horrible happened over there. it won't be long until the sunset will be perfect. Plugging in my earphones I started my run, I didn't want to be too long. Really Tohru should be the one relaxing she's been helping me out all day, I actually got some stuff down that sounded alright. I'd just made it down the mountain when I got a call. Please don't let it be Ashido, I knew why'd she'd call..... And of course, it was her. When tapping the bud to answer she sang out my name.
'How is my official women?' Rolling my eyes as I kept up the pace down the road she chuckled to herself.
"I'm fine, I guess." She cheered once more clapping her hands and as a blush raised against my cheeks my legs moved faster against the pavement.
'So you followed the wise and incredible Ashido's advise and got it on with the bf?'
"Ashido I will hang up on you." She laughed at my threat.
'Well then let's talk about that song you've been writing.' I could hear as she flipped down onto something. More than likely her bed. The sprint I'd kept up for the past ten minutes I stopped panting heavily.
"I haven't fully finished it." She gasped and I started back up again to make it to the opening of the mountainside.
'What it's been so long. Hinata's going to flip out.'
"Don't go telling her just yet. I'm more than half done." I panted out. "I was planning on sending a draft to her on Saturday."
'Stop whatever you're doing and sing!' She suddenly shouted and I stopped almost with a skid.
"What?" I said through shortened breath as I grabbed my knees for a moment to calm my breathing.
'I mean just wing it. Sing what you have so far then just go for it. I'll write down what you say. The plan is full proof.' Letting out a long sigh I sat myself down onto the ledge looking out to the ocean as my breath went back to normal Ashido started playing the demo so I could hear.
'Alright (y/n) take it away!'
After the last line was sung I breathed heavily leaning forward against the ledge. I did it. That plan actually work.
'Holy shit.' Ashido breathed out.
"(Y/n)." Gasping and spinning around Kyo stood there panting like he'd just been sprinting.
"Kyo... What are you doing here? What happened to your cheek?" Jumping from the ledge I touched his cheek. "What did he do to you? I'll give them a piece of my mind." Kyo grabbed my hand before I could walk off.
"It's fine really. I'm fine. Were you crying?" It was his turn to touch my cheek.
"Maybe. I didn't notice. Some of the lyrics were hard to sing. Did you hear?" He just smiled leaning forward to kiss me. Kyo wiped the few tears along my face, humming against his lips I stepped closer to him.
'Yeah (y/n) get some!' Ashido whisper shouted into the phone. I gasped pulling away from Kyo.
"Ashido why didn't you hang up?!" She giggled jumping up and down on her bed.
'It was some good tea I can spill to the girls.' I blushed deeply hanging up the phone. Kyo just smiled wrapping his arms around me.
"Are you sure everything is alright? You can tell me you know." Kyo shook his head kissing me once more.
"Everything is fine now that you're here."
