(In this book no one know each other yet, just Haechan and Mark, they all meet for the first time at camp)

Today was the first day and Mark was excitedly waiting at the entrance of Camp Fireflies.

It's a camp his great grandpa used to own, but after he passed the grounds just kind of became abandon.

Him and his parents worked on rebuilding it all spring.

He branded it as a camp to relax, have fun, and just escape the hard reality for one summer.

He asked his friend Haechan to hang fliers at his school and Mark couldn't wait to see the turn up.

The first car pulls up at the drop off and a door opens. When it does, Mark yells, "Welcome to Camp Fireflies!"

"Mom, do I have to?" The boy inside the car loudly objects, Mark couldn't understand because the boy was speaking Mandarin.

"Renjun get your butt out of my car and go be social!" The mom yells back.

The boy Mark assumes is Renjun huffs and exits the car holding a large book-bag.

Mark gets nervous, not knowing Mandarin, but still tries his best to communicate with the boy.

"You lick donkey?" Mark says in his best Mandarin. He believes he asked if Renjun was excited.

"I speak Korean." Renjun responds rolling his eyes and pushing past Mark.

Mark brushes off the bad first interaction and awaits the next camper.

Another car pulls up and through the windows Mark sees a boy with a bright smile.

He leaves the car and Mark notices the boy has an eye smile as well.

The boy introduces himself as Jeno, and kindly bows to Mark walking past him and into the camp grounds.

The next car that pulls up looks a bit familiar to Mark.

"Yo Markie, where do I park my car?" Mark's friend Donghyuck pulls up. He is wearing shades and is in the car alone.

"Well, this was supposed to be a drop off, but you can park just over there." Mark says pointing to the right. "How much stuff did you bring?" Mark questions eyeing Hyuck's 8 suitcase in the back of his car.

"Just my whole bedroom and kitchen." Hyuck responds driving his car forward.

Mark chuckles and shakes his head as the next car pulls up.

"Bye mama, I love you and I'll miss you so much. Tell dad I said bye." The boys whines.

"Okay, be good Jaemin and make some friends, alright?" The mom speaks. He gets out the car and gives his mom a kiss on the cheek.

The boy Mark is assuming is Jaemin walks up to him and pulls him into a tight hug.

Mark tries to push Jaemin away but he doesn't budge.

"This is going to be so fun!" Jaemin exclaims taking in a breathe of air and walking away from Mark.

Mark sighs as another car pulls up.

This car looked very expensive and the door lifted upwards revealing a boy with orange hair.

"Bye Chenle!" The boys mom spoke in Mandarin.

"Bye Mom!" He yelled back. The boy was wearing a Gucci shirt but had a cheap book-bag on his back. In one hand he was carrying a basketball and in the other his phone.

Mark tries to greet the boy but he just continues past Mark without saying a word.

"Good to meet you too." Mark mumbles, speaking to himself.

Mark had noticed the lack of girls at the camp but decided not to question it.

Another car pulls up, a pretty tall, but young and cute looking boy leaves the car.

He seemed shy, fidgeting with his fingers and stumbling over his feet.

The tall boy approaches Mark and hands him something.

"I b-brought you a compass, but I-I broke it in the car." The boy speaks.

"It's alright, go on right this way." Mark responds taking the broken compass from the young boys hands.

Mark waits a couple more minutes and no cars pull up so he assumes everyone has arrived.

He walks into the camp ground to see all the boys staggered every-which-way.

He blows a whistle, grabbing all the boys attention and gestures towards four log benches surrounding a fire pit.

Everyone sits down and Mark begins his speech.

"Hello everyone and welcome to-"

"Wait!"

Everyone directs their attention to a girl running across the camp ground, tripping over herself and dropping stuff from her bags.

"Am I late?" The girl ask, out of breath and giving up on running, just falling to her butt.

That? That's us, Kim Y/N.
