I had dozens of stories to tell

but now the only story I ever tell consists of only you

and while history speaks of your White feathered friend, noble and soft-spoken, but of a cowardly disposition

known for doing only what was easy, and too frail to handle truth,

I tell the stories of a person I once knew with a profound stare, and an even greater mind;

the product of a poet's main addressee,

that walked through corridors many have walked before

but held the presence of a Greek god
With a heavy disposition and a godly complex
surrounded by a twilight glare

that the others scowl and envy, but cower in fear and shame of your existence.

while people like me

fall deeper into your madness

with the likes of those like you.
