With you, you bear a sense of dignity that you so restlessly try to keep, that you bow your head in shame when you realize that life isn't consolatory, nor is it as beautiful as a delicately carved marble statue of an ethereal woman.

Instead to live is both loving and unkind

And you suffer twice living in misery

Trying to reach a version, a vision of perfection.

When will you realize that you're wasting away, trying to grasp what is non-existent?

Or are you forgetting that with feelings of euphoria, comes misery

And regret becomes acceptance,

And love becomes loss,

And that nothing and no one that is living,

Breathing,

Feeling,

Or ever was-

can ever be so perfect?

And You are not.

It's just the delusion of perfection you will incessantly try to reach, and never will.

It's just the delusion of perfection you will incessantly try to reach, and never will
