"You're seriously so fucking pretty." My hard gaze landed on Aria's pale blue eyes as I rolled mine at her. "Stop moving, or this glitter is going to be all over your carpet for the next twelve years." She laughed loudly, causing my hand to drop and wait for her to finish her laughing fit.
The harder I tried to keep my mouth in a straight line, the more it tugged higher; slowly morphing into a grin.
I was attempting, key word here ATTEMPTING, to apply the body glitter to Aria's face but she kept laughing about everything and anything. "Okay, okay, okay. I'm done." She sat back in her seat, giggling lightly and I finished the last touch. "Good, because I am too." I sighed in accomplishment as I grinned at her, taking in my masterpiece.
Have I mentioned that I fucking love raves.
We were wearing the exact same outfit, her top just white and mine black. It was a bralette type shirt with rhinestones, paired with black cargo pants and our Doc Martens. We both had the exact same belt on that was looped with a chain.
Aria and I lived for these moments, we got to do our makeup super heavy with glitter everywhere- our absolute favorite part.
The best thing about being best friend's with Aria was the fact that we were actually the exact same person. We had the same style, same bra size and just same size in general. We thought the same thoughts, even enjoying all of the same things with minor taste bud preferences when it came to certain foods, but regardless we were identical.
We always used to joke about a secret affair that might have happened, for the fact that we could also pull off being maybe like distant sisters. We had almost the same thick hair texture. Her hair however, was super curly like Uncle Jake's side of the family and mine was wavy exactly like my mother's locks.
"Are you ready?" We questioned at the same time as we both rolled up our Kandi bracelets, our voices over lapping one another causing us to be thrown into a laughing fit. "I swear you're my fucking soulmate, man." I grinned widely at her, nodding in agreement, "For sure."
"But yes, I am ready, lets go." She nodded, grabbing her keys, meeting me across the room as she stuffed her money and phone into her pocket. Following Aria, we descended the stairs of her beautiful home, splitting up briefly as we climbed into her Honda.
Her bluetooth connected immediately and she thrusted her phone toward me, "Here you go, DJ." I grinned as her Face Recognition scanned my face and unlocked the phone for me, I shuffled our playlist mix.
It mostly consisted of Lil Peep and yes we did scream the lyrics the whole way there. We arrived to the event about forty-five minutes later. Aria turned her volume down as she slowed to a stop next to the attendant scanning the tickets. He scanned both of ours with a grunt, quickly ushering us into a parking spot. We both thanked him as Aria drove away and towards the directed spot.
I sucked my teeth, my eyebrows drawn together as I glanced back at the ticket attendant. "Damn, son. He was kinda rude as fuck, no?"
"Nah, he definitely was." We nodded our heads in unison to agree that he def was a totally d-bag.
Filing out of the car, we met in the front of the vehicle, Aria immediately clutching onto my wrist with her viper-like grip as she bounced up and down excitedly. Too ashamed to kill her happiness, I allowed her claws- I mean fingernails to dig into my flesh around my thin wrist.
