Chapter 14

Mason's POV

It's only been 4 weeks into summer and I've ran into Matt a long with his sister a lot it's always awkward between us, Bee always tries to start a conversation with Matt and I, I usually say hi and leave, besides that I've changed a lot but not in a good way, I've become a lot colder, I'm smoking now and my cuts get deeper everyday. I lay down on the grass looking up at the cloudy blue sky, I sigh and reach for my back pocket taking out a pack of cigarettes then pulled one out and putting it in between my lips, I light it Inhaling and feeling the smoke fill up in my mouth then exhale, I feel calmer as a small cool breeze hit my skin, the wound on my neck is still healing it started bleeding when I was about to sleep after the party I still haven't told anyone what happened so I put a bandage over it, I closed my eyes taking another puff of the cigarette, "you know those kill right?" I hear a little far above and behind from my head "that's the point" I mumbled, they sit down and sigh softly, I open my eye and see a upside down Eric "want some?" I offer him, he shrug and took it, I sit up watching him as he took a deep inhale then began coughing, nearly choking on smoke, "you're ok" I say patting my hand on his back then take the ciggy back, Eric leans back on his hand "now I feel like a cool kid" he jokes, I lay down in his lap and closed my eyes again as he ran his hand threw my hair "how are you feeling?" "What does it look like?" I scoff, I'm mostly stressed out and hurting inside but I can't tell him that, "Cam told me what happened, wanna talk about it?" He comforts me "no, not really. But I guess we could talk about you and Cam" I suggest "sadly, I don't know, we might not get together, since ya... Tobi, I want to be with him, he wants me too, but we can't, it doesn't feel right to hurt Tobi even more" he frowns "oh, no, I don't wanna be the reason you guys don't get together, Tobi's a good person she just needs more time, but you never know I guess" "thanks Masey" he smiles, suddenly my phone gets a text, I get my phone out of my hoodie pocket, it was a text from Bee.

Bee: Hey Mason

Mason: hey

Bee: Can you come by my house tonight?

Mason: I don't know, I'm gonna be a little busy, but I'll see if I can.

Mason: what's up?

Bee: I just a need a little help with something.

Mason: oh ok, I can probably be there for a little.

Bee: Ok, hope you can

"Who was that?" Eric asked "it was Bee she needs some help with something" "oh, aren't you going to back Australia tonight?" He continues ruffling up my hair, "yeah" "I'm gonna miss you" I chuckle "I know", he smiles then frowns slightly I can tell something else was bothering him "what's wrong?" I say "um, nothing just, why do you think someone would make that video?" He asks with a soft sigh, "I don't know, maybe they don't like me"

"Why did you do it?"

"What?"

"I know you did it Mase, why?"

"I- I had to tell the truth,
it was too much to keep, but I'm too much of pussy to tell anyone in person"

"Mason..."

I sit up and sigh deeply, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you I was getting bullied, or that accidentally fell in love with someone else, but I love Matt, I thought maybe if he hated me these feeling for him would go away but it just grew stronger, and yet, it fucking hurts" I felt like crying but nothing happened my voice just became weak and full of sorrow, Eric rubs my back trying to comfort me.

Jaren's POV

I've been thinking about texting John for weeks now but I can never bring myself to text him, I'm afraid he moved on or accepted that "I hate him", I don't I just needed some time but I think I can text him now, I sit up on my bed and pull my phone out of the pocket of my jeans, I sigh before finally texting him.
