Dixie came in and gave him a look and left, she gave him one of those looks that just tells you too watch yourself, after that all Jake did we take pictures of me while I slept and he landed up falling asleep watching my hero academia.

"he really didn't mean to hit her but I still don't trust him" charli said
"he told me that he honestly didn't mean to hit her it's like his body took control and he just froze after that" she added "well I don't like him, I feel like she deserves better than him" Dixie argues, "well I think we should sit her down with mom and dad and let Katie explain the situation and see what mom and dad have to say" Charli suggests

I woke up and Jake was sleeping I obviusly had to take pictures of him I mean like he's adorable. Anyways I went to see what charli and dixie were up to. I went to chatlis room and she wasn't there, I went to dixies room and they weren't there either, I checked the whole house and couldn't find them I finally went to look by the pool and there they were I asked them.
"what are you two up to I mean like your not wearing swim suits but your by the pool."i said
" well you see um... Dixie has to tell you something"charli said as she lightly pushed dixie in front of her
"what.. OK so basiclly we don't like the fact that Jake hit you even though he apologized for hitting you we still think that you deserve better and plus we want the best for our new little sister" said dixe
"I understand where you guys are coming from but I love Jake still he was overwhelmed and he lost control I yelled at him for what he did before you guys got home and he aid sorry today so all is good I asked him to ensure that it never happens again." I stated
" I also told him to endure that it never happens again I walked into your room to see if you were OK and I saw him with you and I told him that if it happens again he will no longer be known to us and he was very upset that he slapped you there was pain in his eyes when he told me-"charli was cut off when Jake walked to the pool area
" how long have you been there "ask charli and dixie
" not long why? "he asked
" no reason"said charli
"ok" jake said surprisingly it didn't bother him well from what I could see it didn't bother him.

**Jake's pov**
I lied I heard everything they said I'm upset they think that about me I can understand that they just want the best for Catherine but still I'm upset so I got my stuff and left

"jake where you going?" Catherine said
"home" I said in an upset tone
"oh OK but may I ask why?" Catherine said
"my mom messaged me she needs my help with something." I lied I just wanted to get out of there house.

**Catherine's pov**

I know somethings wrong with Jake he's just not telling me. In starting to think he heard everything charli and dixie told me but I honestly wouldn't know my back was towards the door.

I went back to charli and dixie
"I'm gonna gk do school work and make sure that I've done everything." I said
"ok make sure your done before mom and dad get home" said dixie
"ok" I said
I walked up the stairs to my room I made sure maths, art, technology, social science and ems was finished it wasn't all done so I finished each subject one by one. I had just finished as I heard two cars pull into the driveway so I pack away everything changed out of my dirty clothes and got in the shower, it took them 5 minutes to get in and by the time they got inside I was out of the shower and in my pajamas which is just a hoodie and sweatpants. I was treated by a friendly face it was Ashley I ran to her and hugged her I fell to the floor crying I missed her so much we were going to share the same room due to the fact that we are best friends and now she'll be staying with us for a month and attending the same school as me again only for a month until her foster parents get their lives together. I ask someone to pinch me because I thought I was dreaming, I soon learnt that I wasn't because dixie pinched me it hurt hut I did ask for it 😹.

I let Ashley wear my clothes I mean like come one we're besties after all.

A little backstory for Ashley, so before my parents died I meet Ashley at my local Starbucks and we had ordered the same drinks and we sat down at the same table to get to know eachother a bit better we were about 10 I was with Madison an fmy mom obviously, but whenever we were together there was never a dull moment between us no fights no nothing just love and humor and sarcasm I lived it I had met someone who was and still is exactly like me I love her to bits and I wish that she never ever leave my life ever. I would never even think of a life without her I wouldn't be the wouldn't I am today.

Anyways Ashley and I couldn't sleep but we did make tik toks and I told her everything that has happened ok well maybe not everything and then she told me whats been happening at the adoption center jeez I miss that place all my friends they are basiclly family to me.

A/N OK SO GUYS I HAVE SCHOOL ON TUESDAY AND THURSDAY THEN NEXT WEEK MONDAY WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY SO PLEASE I WILL TRY MY BEST TO UPDATE THE STORY FOR Y'ALL
