Remembering every time I shut myself up,
Every time I though I was all alone,
Every time I reached out for help but backed away at the last minute.
It wasn't easy fighting a war with myself,
Staying up for hours in the night
Arguing with myself,
Screaming into pillows,
Crying till my throat turns sore.
